Untamed 101....I'm from connecticut too and I love snow so I enjoyed the pix...looks like we' re getting more today and tomorrow... 7 inches in my area....so snap away again!!!(lol)
Thanks Just like I thought, a couple more days of nice weather then a tornado hit again on Sunday. No damage though. Kids were out of town and I was having one too many drinks at Longhorns lol
Here's a picture before the the thunder storms we had Monday night. There were a lot of roofs blown of buildings and a lot of small twister that knocked down trees and power lines. Its hard to tell from the picture, but the wind is blowing around 20mph and making the MS sound very rough. From that picture it looks like a normal sunny day. Needless to say there werent any boats out that day.
dancedroid:icon_ banana:Beautiful shot...Red skies at morning sailors take warning, red skies at night sailors delight. My dad who was a Navy man used to say that to me as a little girl, and I think of him every time I see a red sky. Thanks for the memories!:icon_ banana:dancedroid

@CJM: looks like one of those bluebird days there before the system. I imagine that 20MPH+ winds would keep most people out the boat. Although i have been out in a 21FT Sea Hunt with 18FT swells and 26MPH winds. Needless to say the King Mackerel were missing that day cause we only caught 3 blue's that day by luck i believe.
@vyvid: Yea NC really overall isnt that bad.
@MLA: Looks kinda cold there for some reason in that pic.
@redbert: My dad has always said the same thing and when your at the coast that saying is more than true. Also have seen it become true in the mountains here in NC

I once worked offshore and all the captains said the same thing. We're starting to get humid mornings again already. The humidity gets so thick sometimes, you have to chew it before you swallow it. I'd much prefer the cool mornings lol.
