We are finally getting some much needed rain. One thing that stood out to me was the projection cones. Usually they're all headed in the same direction. Gotta love tropical systems.

Its interesting to see how the coastline affects storm systems. You don't see storms moving away from eachother on a 180 degree line anywhere else besides the coast hardly.

109 heat index here today. Still gettin hotter in the next couple days.

It was 99° hazy hot and humid in Ct today heat index of 105°...more of same fri and sat...glad I'm working those days so I can stay inside in the a/c. Reminds me again of why I'd never be able to live down south no matter how beautiful it may be during our winter. I can't imagine living thru months of this kind of heat in a row. Anyway try to keep cool, well hydrated, and out of the direct sun!

It's been cooler down here since we've been having scattered showers. Our high today was around 85°. That's one good thing about tropical weather.

its funny to see all the three digit temperatures up north so much and with me being in south Florida we rarely see temps over 87-88 once in a while it will hit over just over 90 but those days are rare.

I'm south of Tampa but just for some useless knowledge. It has never reached 100 degrees in Tampa since they started recording temperatures.
