Post Your Weather Pictures

We are good here on the seacoast of NH but Vermont and Connecticut got hit really hard from what I hear. Some major flooding. So I am wishing the best for all them.

Luckily all we got from this cloud were some minor wind gusts & some much less humid air. Taken in Central Nebraska the eve of 8/7.

In central ct, we lost power for 12 hours but there are about 700 thousand people still without power. We had no damage, but our daughter and son in law went to closing on their new home friday and on sunday their new neighbors tree fell on the wires going into their home and damaged the two pretty ornamental trees in their front yard also. Luckily they hadn't moved in yet and nobody was hurt, just property damage, and things can be fixed. There was lots of flooding in low lying areas and at the ct shore, but as of this evening, the winds were gone and the sun was out in some areas. Back to work for me tomorrow!

Thanks for the pics Chevy.

We have cleaned up about 90% of our power outages in the area. I just have a lot of sticks in the yard.

A lot of areas were under water as well.

Not a problem and I have seen the northeast in the news it looks rough with all the flooding. Glad power is getting restored for y'all cause its no fun without power/utilities. Water able to go back down?

Rocky Mount is still powerless in places and some roads are closed.

The GFS model is showing it coming into LA

I haven't seen that model. Our local weatherman said no 2 models could agree where it's going. He compared it to hurricane Elaine that hit here in '86. That storm stayed off the coast and danced around until it built up enough steam then turned and hit MS coast.

Down where I'm at is on the ocean so its receded.

Inland they are still having issues.

Looks like Vermont may have gotten the worst out of the entire east coast. Entire towns ruined and some towns all main roads completely washed out keeping them from getting aid. I guess they started air dropping food and water to them.
