Crud.....I wiped, DL'd Miui 12.18, I deleted /system/app/telocationprovider.apk. Then I DL 12.18 Mod on top of it. Should I delete /system/app/telocationprovider.apk in the mod also?
Anyway I cant make outgoing calls. I get a F/C on the second button I press. It says. "Sorry! The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. I can take incoming calls fine. I did fix permisions in RM. I rebooted and got same problem. I DL both of these and put them in a Rom folder I have. I then used RM and installed via sd card. I dont know if this has anything to do with it. Hope this helps someone. (lol like me.

DLed the beta, and it synced up all my market apps no problem. Had a couple FC's here and there, so I ran the Jrizzill mod as well as delete the APK referred to. Fixed permissions via CW, and did a reboot.
Droid1 has been running silky smooth and fast for the last three hours with no FC's.

What did you wipe, and how did you wipe it? What ROM were you coming from?
I did remove the APK after I installed the mod.

I apologize guys... my mod was supposed to delete TelocationProvider for you, but there is a typo in the updater-script where I tell it to delete "TelocatonProvider" (notice the misspelling). Anyways, I can confirm that after deleting that file, MIUI is so smooooooth! =)
What is not working? I have Maps, Places, Latitude, and directions in Maps working fine. When I go to google.com, it shows my location accurately.

I wiped data and cache. I went from 12.3 to 12.11 no wipe. I then dl 12.18. Because it was a beta and thought I wanted clean slate so I wiped data and cache. I was unable to delete the delete /system/app/telocationprovider.apk. It said it was a read only. Using root explorer I moved it to my sd card, then deleted it from there. I fixed permisions from RM and rebooted. I still cannot make outgoing calls without the acore F/C. May go back to 12.11 and wait for issue to get resolved. Using D1, Miui 12.18 mod, P3 Kernal LV 125-1250-v32. Thanks for all your hard work fellows. Very respectfull, Frogman in San Diego.

I go to navigate turn by turn and it will not pick up my location.

Not sure. Mine works perfectly. Navigation picked up my location instantly from inside the house.
Are you using a different kernel? Have you made sure GPS is turned on?
Finally made a call out and it didn't F/C. Thanks goes out to mikdav1
Mikdav1 one put this info out on another thread. I changed the name to add a .bak to the end and it works fine. Not sure if he added that fix.
I do have another question. Ads are still running in apps. is there a script to turn them off? Where are scripts stored anyway?

The following is from jamezelle in the 0.12.11.0 thread...
Dialing *228 will force close the phone. Dial *228+ instead. It works the same.
To get a + sign, hold down the 0 key until you see it.

not running the unofficial mod version but i do have the rounded icons theme on it, no FCs here either after removing that same apk
I'm not retarded, obviously GPS is on. stock kernel going to try chevy now.
