So... yesterday wasn't a very good day. LOL... I single handedly nuked the th3oryrom database and my lappies Hard Drive... I am on the hunt for a replacement drive today and I REALLY hope I can recover some of my Data off the old drive. I hand the secret to life and the decoder for the Rosetta Stone on there. lol

I'll get it. :) Sorry for the delay.

It happens... I guess my lappy didn't like 4 working folders, deodexing, and signing all at the same time. Lol.

Heading to Best Buy now... Time for a bad ass upgrade.

Ok another newb question... I searched for this one. I've been playing this Drag Racing game ALOt lately. On level 10 in the Pro League and it took quite some time to get there and I'd like to not lose all of it.... If I wipe again, will I lose all of this. I'm currently on 1.3. Thanks in advance!!!

You shouldn't have to wipe when upgrading, but use titanium to back up the data. That'll save you're progress.

Hey I see some people talking about an OTA update. Anybody know what will happend to us th3ory rom users ? What if anything should we do to keep for having our phones hosed up but the OTA. I have to assume that the changes/fixes in the OTA will appear in a new th3ory version anyhow...right?

I'm curious about that too. Do we have have to factory restore, download the OTA, then root again?

I'm almost positive we should all turn off automatic ota updates if they're not disabled already... the ota that is rumored will break the root method out right now. Which means we break everything lol.

NEVER install OTA's if you're on a custom rom, wait until there is a update from the android gods.

I've heard you can recover more data off of a crashed drive by actually putting it in the freezer for a while and then connecting it and trying to pull the data off. Never tried but it might help if you can't get some data off.

Anything that talks to.Moto has been removed. No way a OTA will push though. :)

I've had less than stellar battery performance also, I use Juice Defender and it seems to work. One thing you have to watch out for with that app is when then phone sleeps it turns off your data then when you wake your phone back up it reconnects the data. I've noticed that sometimes the data won't reconnect.

I've been having a problem charging my battery to 100%. Both on 1.3 & 1.4, it may be because of the 1% hack not sure. But when I plug my phone in to charge it only charges to 95-98% but says it is fully charged. Even when the phone is off it states 100% on charger but while on and charging it doesn't reach 100%. Calibration didn't work.

Any suggestions?

I completely drained the battery to the point that the phone wouldn't turn back on. Then i charged it over night while it was off and that seemed to fix the display. Hope this works for you

The phone is built to protect the battery from overcharging. It stops charging at around 95. The one percent doesn't affect hire it charges just allowes accurate reporting.
