so i just flashed the rom and everything is going great except one thing, i cant add new contacts at all. i can edit and interact with existing contacts just fine, but whenever i try to add a contact the contacts app force closes, i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if the dev could help at all, cause thats a pretty big problem.

Nope, can't say that I've got the same problem. Been running 1.7 with powerboost and experience as well for a few days, actually, I haven't had any problems at all with it.

Did you "let it sit" so it can take over? After I flashed the ROM, I let it sit for about 30 minutes, as well as when I did the powerboost, and again when I did the experience theme....

You may want to try that.. just wipe EVERYTHING, flash the ROM, let it sit, don't touch the phone at all, for about 30 minutes, do the same with the boost and the experience

i let it sit for about 10 minutes, and i never installed the power boost, dont really have time to reflash the rom right now (dinner), but i guess ill try that later when i get a minute

so when I do the mods in Terminal, I get an error:

cp: Can't create '/system/unthrottle/backups/sysctl.fnoc': No such file or directory

any ideas to what this is?

I just tried to add a test contact and it failed as well, that would be my first official issue and I've been running 1.7 within an hour of its release? not sure what's up?

so I've been reading about this, and I'm finally going to do it...

do I want to do a complete install delete everything? and then just use titanium backup to restore my apps? I'm sure this has been asked, and I know it says something about not wiping but I'm not 100% sure and just want the best possible experience out of this.

If its your first time on this ROM do factory reset to wipe data and cache, go to advanced and wipe dalvik, then mounts and storage and format /system. Google will auto restore your apps and contacts. Make sure all contacts are in google not backup assistant

I removed google + and rebooted my phone, that seems to eliminate the problem, I can add new contacts once again
where did I miss that google + was an issue?

Hey dhacker29, have I got something wrong in my understanding? I've had only the glitch caused by the google + APP killing my ability to add contacts... UN installed to fix...
I've been running from about 2+- hours after v1.7 launched with powerboost 2.0 cooked in.
What am I missing from this pb2.0 updated file? Was that different from the cooked in version? I thought it was just a stand alone updated zip from his 1.x file. ???
Any clarification would be awesome. Thanks in advance
