Was wondering if the free version of Titanium could come pre-installed. I suppose I could load the apk on to my sdcard but figured I would throw that out there. It would make the process of full wipe/restore much easier if it was just "there" after booting the rom, especially if the updates come often and require full wipes.

Having ti pre installed would not hurt my feelings any. But so far ti has auto installed for me every time.

The point to having it pre installed is so that you don't need to sign into Google to restore, especially if you are not in 4g or have a slow connection.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can unzip the ROM and manually add the apk of your liking under data/apps. Rezip the ROM then flash it. Therefore making it pre installed. This has worked for me in the past.

I dont contribute much but i do have to say a few words... 1.8 is awesome but there was a signal glitch with my bionic and the Rom. I am a savvy user and im definitely not new to roms but i did experience full disconnects of my signal when switching from wifi to 3/4g for several minutes at a time or until i was forced to do a battery pull. Network connectivity was spotty at best.
My steps...
7x Full wipes, system, cache, dalvik
Installs of pc browser based 1.8 DL and mobile based DL.
W/ and w/o added xperience companion

I didnt speed the process because i am patient. I let the dust settle and even do battery pulls to ensure this.

I remove additional crapware and bring it to a barebones high speed blank canvas. Once i'm happy with my beast, i install the rest of the apps.

W/ 4 tries on 1.8 the signal has been kaput. In the end, i did full wipes of int and ext sd's and the OS and reverted back to 1.7 sweetness. I watched 2 full hours of netflix and had minimal connectivity issues. I hopes this helps to identify a problem and im open to any suggestions...

ROM builders: you guys are awesome and i appreciate everything you do. When i get the chance, ill donate a beer or two.

I used 1.8 for a full week with no issues what so ever with 4g, 3g, or wifi. all Radios work great. But I load each install of Theory's Rom from scratch. I actually do a real factory restore through fastboot, then root, then Bionic bootstrap then I follow the Instructions in the OP to the letter. Have yet to have any issue with any version of these roms. Also I don't touch any app included in the version release as I figure Theory and Crew left in there for a reason (The Bionic has more than enough room for every thing)

Yes its a pain to do all the above and takes me about 2 hours but I have yet to have any issues with any of these roms.

Maybe doing the same might help? Not saying your doing any thing wrong but if 1.7 did and does work then 1.8 should as well. The changes made in the rom should have have effected Radio functions.

and lets not forget Verizon is working on its Network on a Huge Scale to make 4G live in more places (This also cause major issues with the Bionic {I at times have to work on towers where the Verizon tech is working on there broadcasting equipment and see first hand the issues caused})

Can't wait to see the newest release to see what all he has improved. Each release has gotten just a tad better than each before. Have been on the edge of my seat since he announced the update for tonight.

I found the root method from p3droid on mydroidworld...

Just need to know if I need to be on. 893 to flash...currently running. 892 and v1.8
