Razr tethering

can some one give a step by step on Bluetooth Tethering i can get them to pair but not connected

It works for me too because my iPad will connect via ad-hoc. My friends Playbook needs infrastructure.

Infrastructure can only be obtained by using the Verizon pay service HotSpot feature on the phone. This can be activated right from the phone but will result in an additional monthly charge - which if I'm not mistaken is an additional $30/month.

I heard there is a way to tether for free? Not sure if this is illegal, or if it voids your warranty or what not. The program was called Free Tethering, but this was on a Droid X2 I heard about it. Can we tether for free?

I use PDAnet. $15 one time charge. There is a free version, but can't access https sites. Very stable/reliable connection. Don't need root access (Superuser access). Consider as an option if you don't want to root.

I also am using the paid version of PDA net. I've got it to pair but it will not stay connected to the other device. Could u provide a step by step on how u got yours to stay connected? Thanks

I keep seeing mention of using apps for USB tether. Is there a reason you aren't using the built in (free) USB tether? It doesn't require root or the hotspot package and works great.

I'm using WiFi Tether for Root users (I rooted my RAZR) without any problems. The latest beta build has an option in the settings for RAZR.

Im using this but I believe its version 9 that I downloaded and have had zero issues with tethering. In fact I actually played 3 matches in MW3 on my PS3 the other night and no glitches or data drops

Oh I believe if you check rootzwiki or xda forums there is a link for non root tethering

Using the word "pair" I assume you are referring to a blue tooth connection. On my Bionic I discovered that it will not pair when on 4g, but will on 3g. (set to CDMA only) It may/may not be the same on the Razr
