Reboot or freeze up issues

Reboots

I tried the zip, seems to be behaving the same way. I do not use titanium backup, but have MyBackupPro installed (which I don't believe does constant backups). I do not use any task killers either. I've noticed the problem is particularly bad when the phone is either

A) Plugged In to Power - Which I had read was a D2 problem but had not experienced prior

and

B) When listening to audio via DoggCather (not streaming) MSpot (streaming) and 2player (streaming over wifi)

The only things that might make my configuration slightly different are the use of Nolock and use of Widget Locker instead of the normal Lockscreen.

I normally get 1-2 reboots a day. I can try to set my phone to free up more memory.

I just installed the Liberty Rom and my phone rebooted and is still sitting at the liberty screen with the logo. How long does it actually take for it to load? or should i do a battery pull? thanks.

It takes a few minutes. I got worried when I originally flashed it too, and almost pulled my battery. Just wait a five minutes or so, and it should be fine.

In terms of "freeze up" issues, does this refer to lockups where the phone is completely unresponsive for a minute and a battery pull is required, or would this also apply to slowdown/lockups that last only temporarily (a few seconds)? I posted this in more detail in the main topic, but my phone will periodically freeze up and refuse to respond, but it will generally wake up within 5 seconds. I might be trying to transition through the homescreens and it will be delayed significantly, or an action like texting can cause unresponsiveness for several seconds afterward.

I don't have any reboots whatsoever, anyway; the random reboots that plagued Fission ended up being an issue with the Blur Music app. Perhaps those with reboots installed this through the Toolbox?

So... should I go ahead and try this update?

I applied the update and I have NOW been up 137 hours 21 minutes without a reboot. It was longer before.

Thank you for the "stabilization update" (1st post)!

(I think I may have had problems with ADW launcher aside from pre-patch issues, now using LauncherPro 0.8.3 [Free version].)

OMG this is the fastest Android I have ever seen with this ROM, especially since it is running native clock of 1GHz!

I just hit Donate form the Liberty Toolbox... $15 in route. THANK YOU!!!

I installed Liberty because every ROM I have used (including stock) has caused random reboots several times per day. Not even 2 hours after flashing Liberty I started getting reboots. Flashed this update last night, no reboot since then, I'm not optimistic but I will update this thread if I continue to power cycle. On an R2D2 with Liberty 1.5

Okay I have gone a week+ without a reboot at all!

Just had some weird issues last night, seemed to do a soft reboot (quickboot) but I was at the airport and didn't have access to the cli to do a dump.

I seem to have more problems when I am all over the browser, multiple windows, copying and pasting a lot.

Well actually this morning I copied about 6+GB to the card, and removed safely from Windows, then did a "charge only" on the phone, then "ok"'d it nad then pulled USB. The screen went black, and I had to pull the battery for the 1st time in a long time.

(It IS a D2, not an DX.)

I'm sorry kejar, I love liberty ... but I've just been having so many freeze up then reboots. I tried the patch, I've tried increasing memory and its still having the issue (on average 5 times a day!) And they always seem to be @ the worst times! What's going on?! I don't have any "edgy" software installed or anything ... I really think we need v2.0...but then again 1.5 was super solid for weeks when I first had it ... ugh, I'm super confused

My screen never shuts off, just goes into lower power mode. I am concerned that the backlight will wear prematurely due to this (and the warranty is now void)...

The charge light when plugged into power (next to the power input microsUSB connector) does not light up.

I do have issues here and there with the phone wacking out, but this happens WAY less than the stock ROM when I got it...

For the speed increase with a "stock clocking" of 1GHz and the "this thing runs circles around ANY apple device" factor it is well worth the few gripes I currently have!

Best $15 I have ever donated!
