Reboot or freeze up issues

I haven't had any reboots since I installed this patch.

First reboot with this installed. Running mysterious beast theme, battery was at 90% and overclocked to 1.15 lv. Was not using the phone even, it was sitting on the table beside me.

Re sbf'd yesterday. Reflashed 1.5 and this update. No theme,overclock,undervolt,or sysctl jazz. These apps:

Down to 40% battery after 18 hours and it just froze out of wake up and quick rebooted. Drat.

Also added blur gallery, camera, and clock.

I installed this when it was first released and have since installed numerous themes on the system, kept all my normal apps. I'm also underclocked. So far I've have had ZERO freezes or reboots. The phone will occasionally hang, but then picks back up after 15-20 seconds.

The ONLY thing I've noticed is the battery level indicator sometimes freezes and doesn't change until the phone is rebooted manually.

I'm 47h 42m without a reboot, lockup, or freeze after a call. Also 15% battery on a single charge. Liberty loves my new replacement phone.

I installed and was still experiencing reboots when trying to wake up my phone after a 15 second timeout. I changed to 30 second's and have had no reboots since. Go figure. Running smooth.

I installed the patch two days ago and it had fixed all my freezes and reboots. I used to push the power button to turn off the screen and my button lights would remain on and the phone would not respond for a while then reboot, or snap out of it after a few minutes, or I'd have to pull the battery. Haven't had to since patch.
Running gingerbread theme with font from watermark'd remaining. OC with jrummy's app @ 1.1ghz 57v, ADWEX, did not SBF before install.

Installed 1.5 over 1.0 with cache and data wipe, instantly installed throttle hack and restored applications (in market), and I started having reboot problems. Factory reset, clean install of 1.5, and sd format seemed to take care of the problem until I installed the throttle hack about a day later. The reboots started happening no more than 30 minutes after install. Will check the patch to see how things go. I might also try to uninstall the throttle hack if I cant get it stable. (not a happy option. I live in the woods with no alternative to a reliable internet source.) Not overclocked, default theme.

Would you mind discussing what exactly is changed with this patch? (Feel free to be as technical as possible). I LOVE this ROM and i have seen the occasional random reboot, but i would like to know what exactly this is going to change before i install it. Some people here seem to be reporting missing/changed functionality with it (lock screen controls and such), and i was just curious as to what it is that gets tweaked with this.

I was in the middle of a post about how my market was FCing after loading this rom, but it occurred to me that I used my backup after flashing this.

I'm gonna flash this again and report back in a few days.

how are we sure the issue is liberty? sounds more like a launcher issue to me.

Haven't had any freeze issues since installation of this zip.. but I had to reboot earlier today before YouTube or any videos would play. But I have no idea if they're related.

After re-flashing, the FC issue was not solved. Went back to a backup and it was still not right.

Going to try an SBF and re-flash.

Day two and a half without a single issue with this patch. Everything back on the phone I always had with the freeze up issue except juice defender. Will load it in tomorrow for the final test day. so far all issues resolved.

Had one reboot last night after ignoring a call, and one freeze up this morning after ending a call. Ill do one more day of testing with throttle hack and patch, then I will probably do another fresh install.
