OK - i have to ask - i see people keep mentioning setting notification/ring tones using Astro. I have that and cannot for the life of me find where to do that in there??? You are talking about Astro File Manager?? or something else??
thanks hoppermi my bad for missing the homescreen fix sorry... the call screen when i get a phone call the incoming city is displayed over the other stuff on the screen and no contact picture shows up?
Sorry, can't help w/ that. Never seen my phone tell me what city the call is coming from. Do you have an app running to do this, if so it may not be compatible. My contact photos come up fine.

I can't promise this is what they're doing but I believe they're opening Astro, going to the media folder, then audio folder and setting it from there because that's where the ringtones are stored
ive been using MIUI since v1 and just have to say that v.11.26.1 it is the most stable bug-less version i have used to date! little to no redraws and very smooth feeling. just wanted to say thanks for all your time and hard work devs! lovin the theme manager Nostalgia is awesome. Finally tried using the stock kernal and its wonderful.
Thats why i tried it. I just wish i could work out this Notification tone thing. SUggestions? Which do you use? I would like a separate one for Regular notifications and for Text Notifications.

DroidLife plug or not, you and the devs have done some serious work with this, and I can't thank you enough. This software has given my droid new life, and minus the few bugs that i'm still scratching my head about, it's close to perfect. I tried switching to your 2.2.1 rom and it's just not the same with MIUI not being there.
