There's definitely a couple minor issues with MIUI but we got to remember that this is a ported version of a rom that's still very much in beta. Plus we get updates every week, if Miui only released major builds like most available roms we would be sitting around for a month+ waiting for a new version.

Yea I feel ya, certain features mean more to some than others, ringtone one kinda bugs me just because I like to roll with the ringer on silent/vibrate and the notifications turned up and I'm finding it a little difficult to accomplish this, lol.
Mainly what I love about MIUI is that it brings something fresh to the android modification game, it's so in depth and different and to boot they made theming into something that feels like it should have been built into stock android all along, where it used to be a involve some moderate hacking.

So far I love the rom...it's fast, smooth and it seems to have improved my screen's resolution..it's amazingly clear! My only question is...does this rom have a "show all ads or stop all ads" script? Will there be other tweaks available? Thanx for this amazing rom

I'm sure you could run a script but I use Adfree from the market and works fine for me.

You'll have to figure that out really. Not every kernel runs the same on every droid. Try a few out and see which one works best for you.

Can you suggest one to start with I had UD ROMS and used Chevys 1.0 was good
If that one worked well for you before I would start there. I got a refurb that don't like pretty much anything anymore. Slayhers newest run ok, but kinda hot. And nothing over 1ghz or I get reboots. Sucks My original could run 1250 all day. Oh well.
Just try whats worked for now.....if not try a different voltage and go that route. Shouldn't take too long to find a good one.

Hi Im new to this rom... wanted to try it out switched over from LFY1.95.. loving this so far its like having a new phone again... 2 questions i need help with spent most of last night trying to find the answers but couldnt.. hope someone will be able to help... how do i fix the incoming call screen.. and how do i get rid of extra homescreens... im using 5 but have 4 empty... thank u

I normally run Titanium Backup when switching between ROM's and it lets me restore all the Text Message Conversations. Is there anyway to restore them in MIUI? I did what i normally do in TiBu but nothing shows up??

What is wrong with the call screen?
Read the user guide, it will tell you how to add remove home screens. It is stickied in the Team D1 section.

I don't believe you can restore your MMS data from the stock android app into MIUI. There may be a market app that will work, but I've never tried.

thanks hoppermi my bad for missing the homescreen fix sorry... the call screen when i get a phone call the incoming city is displayed over the other stuff on the screen and no contact picture shows up?
