Take care of business man there are plenty of D1-MIUI users that will be around for support to the last batch of downloads. Plus you've made this release stable as hell to us, the couple minor bugs that exist are bold faced in the OP. No excuses fellas

New Full MIUI ROM for Original DROID Blows Us Away

DroidLife plug or not, you and the devs have done some serious work with this, and I can't thank you enough. This software has given my droid new life, and minus the few bugs that i'm still scratching my head about, it's close to perfect. I tried switching to your 2.2.1 rom and it's just not the same with MIUI not being there.

This is the first time since I rooted that I have kept the same ROM on for more than a couple days. I've had nothing on here except miui since the day 11.19.6 came out. Not sure when that was but it seems like a month.

Of course I have followed the updates to 11.26.1 and tried themes but for all intents and purposes I am unchanged for several days. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this project.

You should always wipe coming from a different ROM. You can always try though, I do sometimes, but 9 times out of 10 you'll have problems. The only time you can flash without wiping is if coming from a different build but even that's not guaranteed.

I flashed this last night - enjoyed it for part of the day - but I miss my LP Widgets so back to CM6RC5 I go. If there somehow was a way to use LP widgets and this ROM/Launcher I'd be in!

Does the wireless hotspot option work. Every time I try to turn it on, it says error and won't work.

Is it kernel related (I'm running the stock kernel). I'm currently using wireless tether, but if I can do it through MIUI, I'd prefer that.

Even though it was recommend not to, I flashed 11.26.1 over 11.19 and it seems to be working just fine. I kept my ringtones and LED notifications. I won't report any issues that come up since this isn't a supported arrangement, but I thought i'd mention it. If I notice anything weird, I'll just restore to backup of 11.19 or do a wipe and reinstall 11.26.1.

I've been trying to figure that out but why don't you use LP with it?

Seems to be the case for a few of us. I did notice that it happens when we plug in a charger or usb.

jesus...so many new faces in here. thats a good thing i guess lol

i tried BOTH flashing over 11.19 and doing a full wipe, and i cant say they were too different in results. i can change my notification sounds and my LED works (it worked for me both ways). i havent gotten a reboot at ALL...ever.
it might be a pain in the ass but, if you wanted to try it, you could try flashing over 11.19 and see if your notification sounds will stick/LED works.
Im using the Cyan colored LED an it has worked since the first minute i installed.
as for the Wireless Hotspot issue, my hotspot has never worked. i use wireless tether and it works pretty good so i dont see any reason to stop using it
