Can those with Facebook issues please give exact environment and install details, so I can try to pinpoint why a few of you can't get it to work?

Upgraded from 3.0 to 4.5 and everything is looking great. the go launcher is decent not bad not the best but I am ok with it. Whats the deal with getting a nice lock screen like a ICS version or better even?

I would wipe everything, just in case. I always wipe everything. Can help clear any doubts or confusion about some problems.

Cancel that found the ICS theme, any luck with getting the lock screen the same or better as the Nex ?

This isn't a source build, so its a little harder. Trying to put a custom lockscreen on the D3 leaks is not my area of expertise. Lol. I will look into it though.

looks like go locker you can have the ICS theme locker as well. I installed that works fine!

still having random charging issues...most of the time itll charge to 100% and then other times it will only go to 95% but the phone will say its fully charged

I don't have a Facebook account at all, so it makes things a bit harder on me. I personally am just not into the whole Facebook/MySpace stuff. I hardly evey use Twitter, except when following certain devs from the Android/PS3 scenes.

Hahaha - sorry, couldn't resist. Glad I am not the only one who isn't on facebook. I wrote Iheartradio a nasty email complaining that I can't create a custom channel because I refuse to get a facebook account.

Seriously though: thanks so much for all your hard work! SD 4.5 has allowed me to enjoy me Droid3 for the first time since I got it. Haven't seen a lot of talk about the "disappearing apps" issue I had with my phone on stock ROM (altough the Bionic owners gripe quite a bit about that same issue), but I am pleased to say the problem is completely gone now that I run SteelDroid. In fact I don't have any real complaints at all. Just a few suggestions.

The market button issue is no issue at all - who the heck honestly cares about something so silly!?!?

Have not had a single issue with wireless, bluetooth, or 3G radio - not even one hiccup!

Really can't find any fault other than I would like to see more customizations available in the ROM. I came from an OG Droid1 that I ran just about every ROM under the sun on at one point of another, finally settling on LiquidSmoothRoms which has a huge amount of user customization options. Haven't been able to mute my camera shutter sounds (regardless of which camera app I try), and would like to have the ability to deactivate the stock lockscreen completely.

I do see motoblursetup app running all the time, and wish I could get rid of that - never ran the Blur setup and never want to run it! Same goes with the Wireless HotSpot - always in my list of running progs, and from reading this forum I expect I have to live with this one - although I really hate seeing it pop up in my gotask widget constantly!!!!!

That's because the D3 reports in 10% increments by default. The 1% battery is a mod.

I'm having the same problem with the facebook account not being able to be set up. I also have the MOTOBLUR setup in the App Drawer now, and i don't believe i ever had it there before, problem being i can't get that to get set up, and i'm thinking that's what actually is required.. Just a guess though, but when i click register and then accept it just goes back to the Register or Sign in screen.. keeps looping it. I installed the Social Apps zip file, but social apps fail to connect to server.. I don't know what to do, I greatly enjoyed all my friends pictures on my Phone. SD3 everything worked great. What do i do?

When I get cell phone service back on my Droid 3, I will look more into the Facebook deal. I dont have a cell phone at all right now, and wont have the D3 back on tap until about a month from now.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully things will work out and Verizon isn't giving you a hard time.

You have done some great work here and it is greatly appreciated by the way facebook is evil anyway .

Haven't been able to get 4.5 back on phone been preoccupied with work lately. Last nite tried your download links and they are not working was just curious if they will be back up soon?


EDIT: My bad and read the report that DEV.HOST.Org are having server issues.

Flash back to SD3. Hopefully you made a backup, I had the exact same problems everyone is reporting, and simply just went back. Sounds like there really isn't a simple fix within v4.5, will have to wait for an update.

Never had this issue. Are you running a different launcher or anything by any chance? Is there any FC's or it just changes after a reboot or randomly?
