[Release][Theme] Golden Elegance for multiple ROMs.....

Hey kook, not sure you can help me with this but how does one go about replacing the icons with the themed icons from your theme. Only certain roms have that capability right? Am trying to replace a couple of the icons to match the gold theme but I don't know where to start. Am running lithium right now if that makes a difference.
 
You can use either bettercut or launcherpro

Really like the looks of cold fusion, but after trying a couple of other themes, and ROMs, I found myself back to UD8 and Golden Elegance....I finally got your themed apps and the stock browser working correctly, so I went ahead and customized my home screens with the gold icons I had worked on...wanted to share, as I am thrilled with how it turned out...

As you can see in the last pic, the only remaining issue is the LauncherPro Calendar Widget not being themed....has anyone figured out if these can be themed yet? Was also wondering if you had thought of theming the Google search widget....

Thanks for the fantastic themes you've created, along with the support that is second to none!

Is that the paid launcherpro or is it the free one? I'm pretty sure I can theme that widget for you no problem.
 
I'm using Launcher Pro Plus...I'm thinking that the widgets are still only available on the paid version...

Let me know if you need me to do anything...You think the Tapatalk widgets at the bottom of the same screen could be themed too?

hmm...I think I have the paid version....if not, I'll buy it and theme it for you....gimme a day or so.
 
Hi Stingray...How did you get that clock? I would love to get it...My eyes are getting a lot worse with age...Plus it reminds me of the old alarm clocks...Thanks...

I think that Sting is using a Beautiful Widgets clock. You can purchase that program from the Market, and it has dozens of clock themes you can download to your phone. I'm not sure of the name of that exact clock is, but I know you can get it through the program.

UD is right...it is Beautiful Widgets available in the Android Market. It allows you to download "skins" of different clock types...pretty simple as you just go in after you've installed, click the download tab and select the skin you want and download to your device. There are a number of great skins that have been created by others...many look like the old-time flip alarm clock...

there are also quite a few that have gold numerals that go great with Golden Essence...the one in my screen shot is called "gearedup" by TomLongMacon...Beautiful Widgets is cool because you can also either not use the skin background or use only a certain transparency % amount...

Don't worry about it...everyone was new to this at one time...and I certainly am not an expert myself...

These forums have a lot of good people that are willing to help and you can learn a lot....don't hesitate to ask because there are usually other people wondering the same thing you are...

Oh, it goes WAY beyond being kinda cool. For some of us, it borders on an *obsession*. Just wait - you'll get hooked on the roms & the themes too, just like StingRay and me. dancedroiddancedroid
