and how do i get the widgets to move around the home screen while i am adding a new widget? they don't move out of the way

kool thanks, off works even better

I believe that under the Dev options there is something called transitions and I tuned it to something like .5 instead of 2 which I assume was some interval and it worked

Look for windows and transition animations i set mine to .5.

I also see some options for apps and limiting them, that might help with facebook and other app store just seem to run and run and run

how did you speed up transitions?

To jakiescivic: you probably already know this, but you can download an app called htc 4g switch that works with razor. You can then force phone to stay on 4g or 3g. Stops the constant switching problem. Hope this helps someone. App is google play market. App is called LTE on/OFF.

I have the app :) , but it makes my 3g signal completely drop. I typically would only experience a data drop while at work, but then it happened here at home last night. So now I'm just leaving it as-is :-/

You can pull the update now! Woke up and went to settings/ about phone/ check for updates, and low and behold it did not say "your phone is up to date". Happilly it offered me some ice cream.

Downloading as I type.

Look forward to reporting my ICS experience soon.

for some reason my girlfriend's & my phone doesn't have signal at all. we did have a bad storm last night so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. but it doesn't work on global or lte. I've installed my ice cream sandwich and she hasn't. if it doesn't have anything to do with the installation of ics, any ideas?

So far I like it. I like the look of it. Just feels new. I'm trying to learn what the differences are. So far the issues I have are:
My wifi icon is only at one bar but I know that can't be right.

How do you disable screen animations?

My 4G toggle doesn't bring me to a place to switch between 3g and 4g. I know it's been discussed but I can't find it. What app should I download for that?

Not sure about the battery yet. Still too early. So far so good with ics!

Edit: My display is using 91% of my battery. Is that normal? There are only a few other apps using 2% so will the display percentage go down as other things use more battery? As I type that I realize how dumb of a question it is lol. Oh well.

I downloaded the thunder Bolt LTE switch (something like that), if you don't want the app you can open dial pad and type in " *#*#4636#*#* " I THINK THAT'S IT for the same menu I think. It's really early for me though, you may wanna do a droidforums search for easier directions hehe ( don't stick yourself into sub 3G more).

I did the 3G force yesterday and it fixed MOST of my battery issues, obviously I played with the phone like crazy when I got it ^^.
