Report your ICS on Razr experience here.

Well first impressions. They really dimmed the display. Right now my GPS is not working so I bet I am going to have to factory reset. Looking forward to playing with it more. O good a restart got the gps working!

Thanks i'll try that on Monday at work. I only have 4G there.

How did that fix most of your battery issues?

For me 4g is a killer, I only use it when I, downloading something/watching YouTube. It just so happen that most of the places i go to has weak indoor 4g coverage. So basically when I'm inside my 4g flutters around 1-2 bars, often not even connecting to the net (or just being super slow), so pure 4g was obliterating my battery hehe.

The OS seems slower. Way more lag moving from screen to screen. Also, I'm not sure why they would mess with the dialer/contacts. Not a good decision. One of the more useful options on the phone, was to choose the option to only display contacts who actually had phone numbers. Not sure why they would remove that.

Honestly. I'm not seeing how ics is better than gb by all that much. Face unlock is ok. Keyboard seems a touch better and maybe the disable apps thing is good.

Beyond that....anyone saying that this is mindblowing or even awesome has to be either retarded or 10.

Yeah it does seem a little slower. For the Dialer I use exdialer which is only showing people with numbers for me. I like it better then the stock even with GB.

Wow. Not lovin' ICS
- Slower
- Dimmer
- Smaller
- My reception is in the crapper
- What I need a "Phone" for just got rolled Backwards 10 years. Boo!
Man, welcome to todays world of No Choices, Here it is, Like it or not because "Different is ALWAYS Better" to "Generation Doh"

widgets

ok moving widgets to the app screen is just stupid, widgets belong in the home screen menu. ALSO what happened to my widgets to turn on and off gps and wifi and the like? i know there is a 4 wide all in one but it is just ugly and i don't use most of the things on it.

and home screen icons don't move out of the way anymore :( anyway to fix that?

Wish I hadn't updated

I'm so annoyed right now, I want to throw my RAZR into a lake. I just installed the ICS update and it has more or less rendered my phone un-usable. All of a sudden its super glitchy, gets hung up all the time (to the point where I've had to soft reset it more than once), and all sorts of apps and widgets aren't working properly. Not to mention ICS will totally mess up my battery life, not least with the removal of a CDMA-Only mode.

Maybe it will get better, but right now I'm furious.

Strange how everyone drooled over getting ics and now it is here, everyone is complaining about it! I have had no problems with it...only better everything... obviously my phone must be defective! :-)

My phone is fine, I just think all the hype over these OS's is ridiculous. It's a frigging phone that's also a really tiny PC, lol. That's all. New icons and colors do not equal "mindblowing".

I think people expected to get ICS and have angels fly out of their phone.

Sillies, lol. :p

A factory reset will probably go a long way in addressing your problems with it being "super glitchy."

While I agree that they shouldn't have removed the option in the settings, you can still enable CDMA-only mode: [How To] Enable 3G only mode

You can also download an app, such as this one: LTE OnOFF - HTC Thunderbolt
