Disable vz navigator. Should work.

I'm with Mef. I DL'd the update today and installed it-huge mistake. It got stuck at 'starting apps' and then sat there for a hour before I did a hard reboot to kick it in the butt. It started up ok but now the thing runs so hot it trips the thermal prot circuit so I can't even charge it now with it running. And the battery life is atrocious! Just like MEF, horrible! Bet if I sat and watched I could see the percentage going down just in a few mins. It's freaking insane! I'm presently going through every dang app looking for a culprit. I've got the screen brightness down. I don't know what the deal is but I know one thing...I want GB back! This thing is unusable!

So far I am not seeing any problems, except very minor (ie. sometimes my t-swipe keyboard is larger than it should for no reason). My battery life seems much better and believe me I have been playing on this thing non-stop, in 3g area the whole time when usually I am on wifi and have not even done the 3g only fix... so it is in 3g/4g mode. I did an fdr about a week ago while waiting for ICS. During, what seemed like a long wait, I added almost all my apps back, didn't add the ones I never use but did add some new ones and set up my go-launcher back the way it was pre-fdr. I think for anyone that is having major problems, doing an fdr will solve them.

Mine got stuck at the "starting apps" screen also. A forced reboot seemed to fix it though. If there's a problem with battery life, etc... I haven't noticed it yet. It might be using more power with the screen on, although I wonder if the new hardware accelerated interface would use more??? It would be using the GPU all the time now.

Flawlessly wonderful ICS. So happy. Give yourself time to get used to the changes and you will love it.

Coming from a Nexus I had missed ICS.. VERY happy to have it back on this wonderful phone
Battery a concern until I did a couple charge cycles. Now battery is even better then before updates. 14 hours and 70 percent left.

This is smoother, faster, and so much more logical now.

Love the update.

This happened to me before moving to ICS, but it is still happening as well

Same for me, jackie... before and after ICS. I go into settings and clear image cache, which fixes it until I close out and go back in again.

I installed ICS yesterday but there are a few quarks that i dont like.
1. The caps doesn't seem to work.
2. Cant show only contacts with phones.
3. There are two separate apps for phone and contacts.
4. When someone calls their name is way up at the top corner in small letters.
5. When your in the favorites you have to open the contact to call, there isn't a phone button to push.
6. The keyboard seems to be smaller or more crowded.
Well that's all i can think of right now. I'll add more as i find them. Everything else seems like it works great though.
