Darn it, changing to CDMA Only now has my phone on 1x instead of 3G

Mine started doing that yesterday until I did a factory reset last night and set it to CDMA only.

Just a note on the camera. The auto focus indicator starts off in the upper left hand corner now. You can still touch the screen on the subject to bring up the focus box. I think macro mode has been improved myself.

To clear all notifications, hit the X in the upper right corner.

I read (somewhere) that the overall quality of the pics taken is significantly better (more clear, in focus, etc).
Have you found this to be the case?

I use Handcent for texts and cannot get the notification led to change to a different color. Previously I set the led to blue for texts and left it green for email so I did not have to wake up the phone to see whether I had a new text or email.
also since installing Handcent, I often get double instances of text messages, that is, if I'm in another app or the screen is in sleep, the text will pop up on the screen and the same text will pop up again a moment later as if it were a different text. This does not happen if I am in the Handcent app, and yes, I set the stock text app to not check for messages or post notifications.

Have you set Handcent as the "Default Text Messaging" application in settings? That's what I had to do, I use Handcent as well. Double notifications drove me bonkers LOL

- Unless I am just not seeing it, I miss my "Clear all" for all of my notifications.

You mean the "launch by default" setting within the Handcent app?

Open Handcent, tap the Menu soft key, and tap "Settings" then "Application settings" then "Default Messaging Application". If you select "All - SMS/MMS", it will tell you that it will "entirely disable the stock messaging and any third-party messaging applications". I have the stock text messaging app frozen in Titanium Backup as well.

Dialer>tap menu, Settings> Quick responses.

When a call come in, hit the text button, bottom center.

Got it, thanks! Won't freezing/disabling the stock text messaging app prevent picture messages from coming in? I thought Handcent still depended on that app for receiving pictures messages.

I have the stock app frozen and have not had a bit of problem. I even froze it before I even re-installed Handcent from the Store after I went to ICS.

Widgets are totally different in ICS ... I use Beautiful Widgets, but you don't long press the home screen any more. They are all in the app drawer. Takes some getting used to.
