Report your ICS on Razr experience here.

Silly question but is freezing the same as disabling the app? I've gone in to manage apps & disabled the bloat. I wish I could hide them too...lol.

I'm loving apex. You can long press the home screen for Widgets. I'm still able to access ADW theme icons with the free version.

Hold the buttons for 2 seconds to screen capture. Hold them for 10 or more for reset.

So just so that I understand this correctly... 2 seconds for screenshot, 10 seconds for reset... does this mean we'll have a screenshot taken every time we soft reset?

I'm still having major battery issues since I received the ICS update Saturday morning. I think the last option is replacing the phone. I'm waiting for a call back from Motorola. Has anybody else experienced extreme battery issues? The longest that I've gotten out of a full charge is 4 hours with almost no use.

Did you sign up for soak or install it? I truly believe verizon wont replace a phone that we put soak software on. Hopefully they release a quick fix update for your situation mate :-)

Call it the way I see it. IF someone bricked or otherwise screwed up their phone while participating in the soak test - They are owed a new phone. No question.
Somebody pokes the pooch by a forced download - On your own and you should be.
When did common sense become so, UnCommon?

I would hope Motorola would replace a soak testers phone, I would also never expect Verizon to replace it.

My understanding, Verizon and Motorola work very closely together as Corporate Partners (a lot of support) not so with say...... Apple:blink: (not a great relationship)
IF a soaker ran into a problem, they would be taken care of. Personal responsibility dictates (IMO) whenever one decides to subvert the process - they can enjoy the spoils when it works out AND suffer the frustrations when it does not.
Real World.

I received it OTA on Saturday. I did sign up for the soak test but I never received an official invite from them. I did the survey but never got a confirmation email or access to the soak forum.

Verizon's technical support said they would call me back Friday and let me know if there has been a solution. They said that they would replace the phone but chances are it would be a refurbished one. My phone has worked flawlessly until the update and I really would rather not take my chances on a refurb.
Motorola suggested that I send it in for repair and it would take 5-7 days. I can't be without my phone like that. So I'm now waiting on another call back from Motorola to see if they can send me a new phone.

If the phone is still under warranty, and the update came via an official OTA soak test, they most certainly will replace it. It will be a certified like new replacement just like everyone else gets, but they will definitely replace it.

It sounds like you fall (sort of) in the same category as my Son. Never signed up/not a soaker BUT received the ICS update Late Friday Night (2:30am Sat.)
He never received any email or survey. Trust me, if his phone went down - he'd be getting a replacement phone.
