Rezound sound issue "Not widespread" as HTC claims?

I have not seen any more news items or posts on this issue since early December...Was it a very limited issue as stated by HTC?

I've had no sound problems at all with my Rez.

The first time I plugged my headphones in I had that problem. And they didn't play in one ear until I unplugged and replugged and played with it(twisted it around)
I will have to check again today Just got my phone over the w/e

I use headphones all the time.. some wal-mart cheapo's at that... (well not cheap, but not as expensive as the beats cause mine didn't come with those). Never had any sound quality issues EXCEPT it picking up interference if I use the aux option in my car AND plug the phone in to charge. Guessing it's an issue with the USB cable used to charge... I know it's not the scosche aux cable I've been using for 5 years LOL
