Np. I flashed the twlauncher patch over 2.9.1 in red recovery and it didnt take. Am i installing it wrong? Maybe it is because i have a theme installed.

*yea it was the theme. Tw patch doesn't work with certain themes

Just remember once you flash a voodoo kernel you can't just flash a non voodoo kernel over it. Make sure you do a bunch of reading on how to do it.

Sorry I am new to fascinate. And it is a little different than the doing things on the d1.

So I rooted with this method http://www.droidforums.net/forum/sa...roms-w-root-new-clockwork-updated-2-11-a.html and used this tar image EB16SC29_DXC.tar

Does this give me Super Clean 2.9 with the Voodoo kernel already? When I booted into red recovery I saw the voodoo menu. Does the voodoo kernel improve speed? Also if I want to install another Rom can I do it through Red recovery, or does it only support certain Roms? sorry for all the questions.

2.9 has voodoo.

Red cwm supports both NV and V. If you had the lady Droid talking after you rebootes you have voodoo or if you do quadrant benchmark you will be seeing 1500 score. If you see 1k then its nonvoodoo.

There is a bit of a difference because it runs faster being ext4.

You do want to disable laggix when you flash a new version for NV but I disable for voodoo just to be safe.

2.9 Doesnt automatically have voodoo, the odin packages for 2.9 are NOT voodoo

Another side note about SC 2.9.1 when i switched to the rotary lockscreen with music controls got nothing but reboots. I had to restore my backup of 2.9.1 that used puzzle lockscreen. Saw a similar issue over at xda.

2.9.1 does not have music controls.

2.9 does.

Idk what it was then. When I switched to rotary lock screen and then turned on doubletwist music player, my phone kept on continually rebooting over and over. Had to 3 button boot into recovery and restore a back-up.

Everything is running good now. I went through the process of installing the voodoo kernel. Then I went through the process of uninstalling the voodoo kernel because of freezes. Now I am back on 2.9.1 nonvoodoo with puzzle lock screen and everything is working fine. Except my accelorometer isn't working, maybe because I got the phone on ebay, idk.

Phones act differently for whatever reasons. In 2.9 the rotary and aosp locks made my phone do random boots and 2.9.1 was supposed to fix that. It did for a lot people.

Yeah I didn't think about it not being installed on this theme, I have important notes on there for work. Liking the theme alot, might have to have to go back to EB01 Froyo if I cant find a way to install it.

heres the link for it, and to push it to system just copy and paste it from your SD card to /system/app in root explorer
