[ROM][4.7.2011] Das BAMF 1.4

Switch to anrellynes (god I misspelled his name) newest kernel. 4.3, I believe. 4.3a is probably best for power saving.

Use setcpu, set your profiles... Make sure you enable profile (I might have forgotten to do that last night.... Whoops). Download watchdog to see what apps are draining the most power.

Thunderbolted!

Okay so I am glad that I am not the only one experiencing the horrid battery drop on this rom. Did not have this battery issue when I was rooted stock.

I have let the battery drain all the way down and I have done the battery calibration tricks all to no avail. Anyone got any suggestions regarding the battery???

If you are running the 1.4 overclocked kernel included with this ROM and you are a heavy user, battery drain is to be expected. Running at such high speeds the battery needs to be overvolted therefore causing more heat and battery drain. Heat is always bad in electronics. The more heat you have the more energy drain there will be.

I actually am using setcpu to throttle the cpu down a lot because I do not need nor want that much speed. that is why I am sooo confused as to why I am experiencing such drastic battery drain. Within in 30 minuts of unplugging and very little use (read about 10 emails) I am down 10%. I was not experiencing this type of drain when I was stock.

Anyone else getting a FC on the browser when trying to share or copy a link?
Also, when trying to do a bump charge, my phone reboots to CW?
You can not bump charge the Thunderbolt. That's why it runs the bootloader when you try to bump charge.

Sorry, but both of these are false. Most overclocked ROMs are UNDERvolted to save battery, and usually close to stock at overclocked speeds (moreso with the 1.92GHz kernel). Try out lean kernel, as it overclocks to 1.4 and is undervolted at 550 VDD up to 1.2 GHz. 1.41 is close to stock voltage.

You can bump charge the phone simply by unplugging once it reaches full charge, and plugging it back in after a few minutes. The reason being is because your phone does not stay at 100%, as soon as it hits 100%, it cuts off AC power. You do not have to power the phone off for bump charging.

Whatever. Not going to argue. I know I'm correct as I talked with many developers over at XDA about it. And you know you're right. K? Carry on.

Yes, because what people say vs. what the facts show makes your argument valid. You're hilarious. Well noted, sir. I'll make sure to believe everything I hear from now on. Have fun living life like that. I'll have fun with my 30+ hours of battery on my overclocked phone. Just try not to mislead others. ;)

Facts? Lol.... Not worth my time anymore.

Don't know too much about it burly Bolt was doing that and I did that on off plug in plug out and it worked for what its worth

I am just shocked that people are getting suck bad battery life. Let me explain... I'm on hour 7 and 18 minutes with 86%. I mean, I'm REALLY enjoying this phone and this kernel. I'm running De-Sensed 1.4 with the 4.3a kernel (no Set CPU). I do a fair bit of talking, texting, and just playing around. Though I don't do games. This is my phone.

Considering on stock I was getting, on average, about 10 hours of battery life before I'd need to charge with medium use. I'm happy with what I'm getting now.

Troy I'm having same problem with my droidx can you bump charge it also I couldn't find a setting must be catchy first the Bolt then the X I know this wrong thread for X but its same problem Bum charge it workedon Bolt?

You know what...this dev disabled auto restore...for this reason I will not even try this rom. He states that he disabled it.because it interfere's with TBU....he should be aware that not everyone uses TBu...
