[ROM][4.7.2011] Das BAMF 1.4

You know what...this dev disabled auto restore...for this reason I will not even try this rom. He states that he disabled it.because it interfere's with TBU....he should be aware that not everyone uses TBu...

I prefer roms that don't auto-restore. Because they always auto-restore an older version or apps that I don't want. Maybe I'm the minority, but I'd prefer a rom that doesn't auto-restore. I don't use TB either. Much prefer a fresh install of all my apps when I do a new Rom (always wipe too).

Same here, I HATE auto restore. And for anyone that wont use a ROM just because it is disabled....well, to each his own, sounds like a waste to me though.

Well, auto restore is really the wrong title...it's actually more of an auto retrieval...it retrieves the apps that you had when your account was last synced with Google...and it is only able to retrieve whatever is currently available in market (correct me if that is wrong)... Either way, there is never a reason for a dev to remove this, as it can be easily avoided by skipping Google login, and going back to lig in...or rebooting the device before the auto restore is complete. I will not use a rom which this feature is disabled on.

I am sad I lost a banking app that I was using, the only one that would sync with my BB&T account, that is nowhere to be found anymore :(

Do you have a nandroid backup from when you had the app? If so, we can retrieve it :)

It's a matter of principle. There is no reason for the dev to disable it...he is removing the option from those who may want it, when those who do not want it can very easily not use it.

Your right, its personal opinion....and would/could/should be a very easy option for the user.

Can we get a revert to stock theme zip? Like on 1.3? The 1.3 one won't work it gets stuck on the storm coulds on boot....

I just like stock look

Hey I noticed the other day I could turn the screen ft during navigation like I usually do to save battery. everytime I pushed the power button the screen turned off for a second then cake right back on. Is there a setting for this now, or just some weird feature for this rom?

I have noticed the battery percentage indicator goes away from time to time. I reboot and it comes back. Not a huge problem, just weird.

It happens at 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100%. It's not a glitch, they didn't put the percentage in at those values.

This thread has been Thunder struck!

You can't bump charge the Thunderbolt? And here I was worried about charging it, unplugging/plugging it before taking it out every day. That's a relief. lol.

Edit - somehow I missed the post saying that you can. Hmm ok.

Ok so i've noticed that my up time and awake time are the same so the last 55 hours.... this drains more battery correct? what will fix this?
