[ROM] [ROM-AOSP] Official CM10.1 (JB 4.2.2) [NIGHTLIES]

I had problems sending out picture messages as MMS on the latest build (1/19) after I flashed it. I went in to my file manager and went to /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases (requires root explorer or file manager with root access) and deleted the telephony.db file. After a reboot I was able to send picture messages! So far so good and will update if any problems arise!

Been running this as primary for 3 days now. Only having 2 small problems.
The bluetooth issue that you mentioned and the fact that I can't send MMS messages even from 3rd party software.

Re: Unofficial CM10.1/JB 4.2.1 ROM Development [01/18: CALL FIX]

Has anyone had any screen issues? Sometimes my screen will time out but I won't be able to turn it back on. If I press the power button to turn the screen on the hard buttons will light up but the screen won't turn back on it just stays black. At closer look in different levels of light it appears that the screen doesn't actually go black just very very dim so it looks like only the hard buttons are on. The only solution I've found is to hard reset the phone. And just for the record every time I flash anything I wipe everything and start fresh.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and if its rom related or maybe hardware related(my phone).
Thanks to anyone with any info on this.

Krooked all day...

Just a crap-shoot here, but is it happening only when you're playing music? I'm having a problem where if I start playing music, and the screen is turned off, I can't get it back on.

A lot of times it is when I'm playing music. I use my phone for music more than anything else really. Sometimes it happens randomly at other times.

i notice the phone does not know when it is docked

also bluetooth works, but i need to enable/disable speaker phone on my next call after disabling bluetooth for me to start hearing. i have to boot sometimes to fix it as well

i am currently downloading the 1/22 rom. whats the changelog contain?

Not completely sure of any of the changes but hashcode put out a tweet about the keyboard backlight being tweaked and is looking for feedback on it. I downloaded it but haven't flashed yet, don't have the time rite now (usually need a solid half hour/hour to set up)

keyboard light still stays on. what i'm missing in the 4.2.1 load is the place to "edit other levels" for the brightness. i had my keyboard light off unless it was dark out. if we could still manually edit that, the keyboard settings here would be perfect

can someone tell hash on twitter or he can read it here. i refuse to use twitter. hate it more than the baltimore ravens

This sounds oddly like the incoming call bug where we are being locked by a get_latency call into the audio HAL. More work to do on this.

It's not nearly as bad since you fixed the incoming call bug, actually, I accidentally let my phone sleep while playing music, and it was a bit sluggish to turn the screen on, but that's bearable. A couple weeks ago while I was visiting my girlfriend, it happened EVERY time my phone went to sleep while playing music, it was completely locked up and unusable, and the next 1 or 2 queued songs would play, but after that it was just a useless brick, and I had to strangle my phone with the power + both vol keys.

Just noticed this today, when making a phone call entering a number in call does the tone twice, so automated systems receive the number twice. Sliding open the phone and using the hardware keys sends the tone once, but displays the number twice. I don't know if the same is true on received calls or not.

In 4.1 the same problem existed for outgoing calls on the on screen keyboard, but opening and closing the slider would fix it.

I think I ran into that problem once and if I remember correctly, I unchecked the "Dial Pad Touch Tones" option in Sound settings and that fixed it, but I'm not 100%
