Newbie question... just got ApeX running on my X, so far loving it. Noticed theres a replacement keyboard in the 2nd post (gb keyboard):
GoodGB_KB.zip

Says I install it the same way as the ROM, meaning I have to go through the whole bootstrap process (minus the wiping?) Just trying to figure out how to install it when its in .zip format. Sorry if it sounds stupid, trying to work through all of this.

Is there away to remove the extra Facebook/Twitter accounts in the accounts menu, I have 2 for each. Also, is there a way to set up the LPPfriends widget without syncing the Facebook/Twitter with contacts?

Fab has a "Apex Wiki" section for anybody looking for some pointers or answers. But that isn't a bad question at all, your right its the same process u do to installing the the keyboard replacement as u would do when installing the a Custom ROM. Seems like u answered ur own question.....haha

I came over from rubix focused. I dig this rom. I do get a fc on gpshud. Which is about the only app I use daily in car dock.

When I press the voicemail button in the dialer. The dialer crashes and restarts. Does this happen for anyone else?

This happens because it's looking for the Verizon VVM app. You guys can get it back by using the install script to restore it from the removed apps archive available in the first post. More on this in a sec...

Same deal here, I think you need to restore the StatusWidget.apk file to get this working. There's a good guide on it here:

Did you actually link the account via the smaller facebook icon? Status definitely updates just fine through the fb widget, at least for me.

Love 1.3.1, with GB dialer - well worth voiding the warranty for. However, can you help me troubleshoot this? This is a screenshot of the settings tab on google maps, but this happens on the settings tab of other apps that have this type settings tab as well. If you click the text, it changes color (briefly), so you can see what you just clicked, but it returns white/white background. Any suggestions?

Hey Bruce, which REVOlution theme is that? Regardless, I haven't updated it for 1.3.1 yet, which is why there's those white text on white menu issues (since I changed text colors to white in 1.3.1 because of the black menus).

If this was one that was custom created by one of our users, you could ask them to switch in the black menu background and it should fix it up. Otherwise, there's a .xml to edit to get the colors back.

So you're using the Blur app as the 'native' sms app, while using Handcent above it and you still can't send MMS?

From what I've heard from other users (I don't use a third party app, personally) is that using the Blur app as the native app lets Handcent send MMS fine.

What exactly do you mean by native? I do have the text messaging app installed but I use handcent as my main sms/moms program and have all notifications turned off so handcent alerts me, or lack there of. When I receive a message while the screen is off there is no audible notification or vibrate just the blue light turns on.

Also I get the mms will not send issue, just sits there trying to send to a non bb phone, a reboot clears up the issue. I can't say this is an apex issue but it was odd to see people with similar problems also running apex.

All things aside your rom is excellent and keep up the good work!
