[ROM] ApeX V1.4.1 for Droid X & Droid 2 - Refinement and Ease of Use (2/22/2011)

I am having issues with Facebook not syncing my contacts. I have cleared the data, uninstalled and re-installed the apps, and removed the account and tried to re-add it. Nothing works so far. I did a full wipe before flashing apex 1.4. When I try to re-add the account it either gives an error that it can't be completed at this time or just says downloading contacts and never finishes. Any help would be appreciated.

Fab...if you see this, hope you've been doing well. You've ome a long way from the early days of the Droid's initial release - impressive stuff. 
Will this ROM support using the Blur email app (I'm OK if that means also have to use Blur contacts)...that's the one thing I miss from Blur...the stock Android email app lacks any search capabilities, and that is a real annoyance for me.
Never mind, did some more reading on the wiki (figured out had to look at the info for earlier versions) and found that it does. Nice.
Installed, switched to Blur email/messaging apps, (remove and re-added corp sync account after changing to Blur apps) and everything seems good so far.
Love the transitions in this ROM - frankly unaware if they were added by Fab or came from somewhere else, but they are very slick.
However.......
One big issue - no Swype. Tried to install a version I've run on other ROMs and it doesn't work, FCs constantly. Help - must have Swype.

Love the ROM Fab Everything works like a dream I was so happy to get off the epic rom. Battery life and speed is great thanks

How do install the ROMS? Do I download on my pc and then transfer or can I use my droid 2 toinstall?

This is actually my little mistake, I removed the Swype library file thinking it would be installed by the .apk I included on /sdcard, but it actually doesn't! I'll have a flashable .zip file that fixes this as well once I get off work tonight.

Fab - that did it! Thanks very much, I gave SlideIt a try in the interim, but Swype still rules for me.
Enjoying your ROM very much...
Not a problem. I found a temp workaround in the meantime but still got my blur gallery back. Thanks!

I love apex and am having one relatively big issue with this release
I notice the gingerbread keyboard is default now. which is nice and what i want. but when i rotate the phone to use landscape virtual keyboard the text field is above the keyboard right under the 'recipient' field and the keys are extremely small
im running this on droid 2
is there any fix for this? i tried re-booting the phone but no luck
help?!

1.4.1 is now available in the OP. Fixes Swype, and makes some optimizations.
Unfortunately, the GB keyboard is just a little short in landscape. But any of the MT keyboards in the toolbox should be regular height.
