[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for Droid 2

Ooops, what I meant was, by gaining more juice, will we possibly lose any performance or extra settings and tweaks? If, by the way it makes a difference..I know there is a way somehow to get everything we want. But hell, we will want more and more and I quess that's just technology love! Lol

We definitely will always want more, thats the beauty and the curse of technology. But if it counts for anything I rememeber not that long ago when people were pretty sure the D2/DX would most likely never be supported by CM, and look where we are now

So I'm new to this whole flashing scene, it was relatively easy on my Droid Incredible, I could just root and then use ROM manager to flash to CM7, but when I select CyanogenMod, there is nothing in that category anyone know what I am doing wrong?

You need to have RM premium in order to flash official nightlies or you can flash unofficial nightlies from revnumbers.info.

we are looking into wifi as the offending process ... Looks like if may be causing phone to never enter sleep state

Don't fret devs are loosing sleep working on the battery life issue.

I feel like I get better battery life with the wifi on and connected ofcourse. But it could just that the data service in my house isn't that great.

Hey I'm on unofficial cm7 815 and I noticed the wifi sleep policy was set to whenever screen is off. At least on froyo and with imoseyons mods that should be set to never. I switched mine just now at 92% battery and will keep an eye on it.

Quick question. I've been checking the change log page at CyanogenMod nightlies changelog for Cdma_droid2 for the last few days and I've seen only build numbers with no changes from build 48 up. Is it just my firefox that's acting up or is anyone else seeing this?

By the way, am I the only one whose battery percentage can seem wildly inconsistent at times? For example, just a little while ago, while it was off the charger it went from 67% to 50% all in one fell swoop. And then when I put it back on the charger it got up to 76%, and a minute later it was fully charged. WTF?!

There have been no changes in the last 3 nightlies so it seems.
Consolidation of hijack and 2nd init looks like the newest change that will appear in the next nightly
