Ok so I did a little reading over at rootz wiki and there was some talk about the battery issues. From what I gathered is that for whatever reason the phones doesn't go into deep sleep mode when the screen if off, or something like that Im not super sure how it all works realy. Not too sure but also maybe not scaling either, but not too sure about that.
Anyway, a couple people said that had tried setting power profiles with a cpu scaling/overclock app. Apparently for some reason of you tell it to scale down it will go into deep sleep like it should. So I already had Android Overclock on it, but I hadn't been using it because I had trouble with the not scaling back up after the screen was off. Researched that a little and basically all you have to do is set another profile for screen on and it goes back to where it should be. So I set it up, ULV 1000 profile, I don't oc it, its fast enough stock I think. When I first got it I tried 1.15 I think and didn't really notice a difference. Then I set it to scale to 350 with the screen off and back up to 1k with the screen on. Thats it.
Its 11:46 and Ive been off charger since probably 8 or 9 this morning. I'm sitting at 60 percent, I couldn't get anywhere near that before, I would have to charge it when I got home because it would be so low, sometimes as low as 30 percent if I used it a ton or flashed. Haven't used it a ton today though, but before it didn't really seem to matter much either. So far its much better. Tomorrow Ill try to use it more and report back. Hopefully its not a fluke. Just for info I'm not using Juice Defender or anything like that either and I haven't calibrated the battery.
