[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for Droid 2

Happened to me with access..first reboot and see if that fixes it...

So yeah was trying to run the ROM toolbox, everytime the screen locked it would lose superuser permissions and stop restoring, unlock the screen and it would resume, then after a while it would just crash. No big deal, wasnt sure it would work anyway, its never played nice with CM7 anyway. What it didnt restore didnt have any data

So after a reboot and installing titanium it did ask for superuser and I could restore from that again.

Batterys pretty low but Im sure that has more to do with all the backing up, restoreing and flashing Ive been doing and not as much with the OS so well see.

Wait, I thought tb was my baby! How can we both be the father? I demand a DNA test to determine once and for all who the father of titanium backup is.

Did you have any FC issues with apps? I kept having FCs with GMail, and ROMManager, and a couple of .process thigs that I can't remember. It was quick though. I also couldn't get the clock to stay away or the battery percentage to go away with Cyanogen settings.

I like the Xperia launcher as for as esthetic, but I would have to play with it to get used to it, I'm an ADW Ex slut for the most part. I may try it again in an updated build, but mine was fairly buggy.

You see that's what I don't understand..lol I haven't had a single force close and everything works...

So far on Revs, with the battery fix, battery life for me has not improved at all and in fact may have gotten a bit worse. Just flashed today though so maybe it'll get better?

Yeah, I flashed it a couple days ago and haven't seen any improvements either :-/

On the plus side... most of the bugs have been worked out of the GB Kernel version. I think the only things left are:

90 degree flip on apps OTHER THAN the camera app that use the camera (Barcode reader and others)
Possible issue with adding email accounts. (Redflea seemed to be the only one who could replicate it, so idk if it's a widespread bug or not)

And the GB kernel version has a much better battery life from what I hear. I'll probably flash it tonight after work and check it out.

I'm thinking of doing the same. A lot of the deal breaker bugs are working now. This pleases me. I just have to re dl the gb leak (monster zip)

Yeah, that's part of why I don't want to do it at work. If it was like just going from one nightly to another I'd be alright. But since I have to go to the GB leak first, I'd rather be home when I do it. Plus my computer at home is already setup to sbf if needed (not that it takes all that long, but still.)

Oh yeah, and I have Win 7 at work, and last time I tried to sbf from Win 7 it didn't work. (I use an XP VM to do it at home)

Win 7 sbf works better than it did on XP for me... just takes a min to get it reading those drivers... I wanna try the GB version (I've been running the zombie leak for a while now) but I don't think I can go without a camera...

Heck I was just chasing a possum last night and wouldn't have been able to record the hilarity if I was running it :o

You have just been post pwned

Camera is working, GPS is working. the ONLY issues left, is a 90 degree rotation for apps that use the camera (besides the ACTUAL camera app. Like barcode reader.) and an issue with adding an Exchange email, but that seems to be an issue that was introduced into the official nightlies, and there is a fix here:

And as for the Win 7 thing, last time I tried, win 7 wouldn't even recognize my phone to sbf it. But there are newer versions of RSDLite than what I was using then, so maybe it was fixed.
