Thank you for your and all the other dev's work on this rom. My phone has never run faster, smoother, had do many options, or lasted this long on a single charge. 8 hours and 44 minutes after unplugging and I'm at 74%! This is amazing!

Awesome name lol. I agree with everything you said. And you wanna know the crazy part? This rom isn't even 100% yet. Imagine what it will be in the future!

Yeah same here. I assume it's because of the unlocked bootloader. I just hope it doesn't ever go exclusively to ROM manager because I literally never use it. I don't wanna pay for an app I don't like or use.

Unlocked bootloader? The bootloader is still locked... but thanks to CVPS and 2nd-init that obstacle was able to be overcome...
Can someone give me some tips on how your getting the crazy battery life? I'm currently running a nightly from 6/28 (the last build for that night, I think on Revs site it was the 4th one)
I don't have any seemingly out of the ordinary apps installed. Battery manager always shows display at the top (although today had "mediaserver" and I have no idea what that is).
After 8 hours (with the display on maybe 20 minutes, the rest of the time I was sleeping so the only thing the phone should have been doing is syncing facebook, twitter, gmail and google reader) the battery was at 60%

I want to point out now that I have the extended battery. It's just that I'm getting the best battery life from this rom that I have ever gotten with any rom on this phone!

I have the extended battery as well, but my battery life on CM7 (and Liberty GB) has been somewhat disappointing compared to when I was on Fission and Liberty FroYo.
I'm getting way more than I need with CM7. I'm on auto brightness, no OC, generally stock settings on everything else. Leaving wifi on, no GPS.
I was trying to calibrate my battery which requires charging to 100, hitting calibrate, running down to 0%, then recharging. I tried to run it down to 0 over 24 hours. Took be about 30 hours total. And I was doing all sorts of crap. Kept my phone on with music full blast while swimming. Did a ton of browsing. Left my GPS on for hours. Ran the flashlight Torch app. All sorts of crap.
It still took 30+ hours from 100 to 0. I slept a whole night after running it down as much as I could the day before and it didn't turn off until I was at the theater the next day watching a movie.
TL;DR: maybe you guys should calibrate, because my battery lasts a long ass time.

I always calibrate my battery (either manually in Clockwork or via the app, but usually both because I'm OCD and like to be thorough, LOL) after wiping and flashing a new ROM.
