Cool but is there anyway to change the actual text to anything other than Droid Concepts?

send me your framework-res.apk and what you want it changed to and ill change it

Do you have trouble editing any of the "9" images? I know they can be tricky to mod and some of them are causing it to crash on me. (won't boot at all) I had no trouble modifying the images in the settings or the browser apks and have had great success on other roms. Is it just potluck or are there files we cannot edit in the framework?

i havent had any trouble with them. I always decompile the apk, edit inside the guides and recompile, using apk manager. There are some 9pngs that will edit properly without the apk being decompiled, but the majority wont. I always do it just to be safe.

Ahhh, that makes sense... I was getting lazy and stopped decompiling and recompiling because for some stupid reason I didn't think it was necessary for the framework. Thank you.

Meaning without having a process running in the background monitoring phone calls 24/7

If not would this work on this rom?

Modified Phone.apk v30.1, vibrate, black list, eclair, froyo, etc.(0708) - xda-developers

Its simply amazing how cool (temperature wise) my phone stays with this rom/P3Droid's LV 800mhz combination. I would like to say its the kernel, but I have essentially tried every froyo alongside with it and DC literally runs cooler than bone stock for me. Its amazing.

I updated to DC12 without wiping data... realized I had to reflash gapps as well and now I have the old green market back. Will this auto update to the new market? It's been a few days now on DC12 and the old market app.

I've tried manually updating the market with an apk I found for 3.0.27 but it won't install. I don't have Root Explorer so doing the manual delete/copy over thing wouldn't be an option.

Any ideas on A)will my current market update on it's own? B) How do manually update to the new market without using Root Explorer.

For what it's worth, I was surprised this afternoon to see the new market, so on mine it updated automatically.

I put this rom on my girls droid the other day and now for some reason i cannot contact her right now.
Its been on the charger all night, i made sure of it
It rings 100 times before it goes to voicemail so its not dead
I tested the battery life on it all day yesterday and it appears to be on par with my droid x
It vibrates audibly
and the ringtones are good and loud so why in the F cant i reach right now at such a critical time?
She got mad at me last night because I went to a bar alone and ate hot wings and drank $1 drafts for almost 3 hrs and we just went to sleep for the first time in months, no maybe i should say weeks
The phone loads into the OS fine
Every notification has a ringtone
The screen lights up nice and bright when she gets a call or text
I just do not understand this!
Can anyone please tell me why my girl who has a phone with an amazing rom on it all of a sudden cannot recieve my calls?


Im stressing out over here! is she okay?

I had the new market with DC11 but then somehow reverted back to the older green version when I flashed DC12+gApps. I've now been on DC12 for a few days and still no auto-update to the new market. I'm not sure I even care but I am more curious as to what the mechanism is for how it gets updated and why that doesn't seem to be working in this case.

Better fix that phone quickly. Otherwise you will no doubt contract a case of the dreaded telephono-onanism.

Is there a way to force the phone to 2g? Signal is very bad at work and when checking what's sucking the battery I see cell standby with 47% time without a signal. I'm assuming not having a signal is killing my battery. It's fine and lasts a long time when at home.
