[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

:icon_evil:

I put this rom on my girls droid the other day and now for some reason i cannot contact her right now.
Its been on the charger all night, i made sure of it
It rings 100 times before it goes to voicemail so its not dead
I tested the battery life on it all day yesterday and it appears to be on par with my droid x
It vibrates audibly
and the ringtones are good and loud so why in the F cant i reach right now at such a critical time?
She got mad at me last night because I went to a bar alone and ate hot wings and drank $1 drafts for almost 3 hrs and we just went to sleep for the first time in months, no maybe i should say weeks
The phone loads into the OS fine
Every notification has a ringtone
The screen lights up nice and bright when she gets a call or text
I just do not understand this!
Can anyone please tell me why my girl who has a phone with an amazing rom on it all of a sudden cannot recieve my calls?:)

Im stressing out over here! is she okay?
what happened?
I dont know
all of a sudden i feel like liam neeson from taken.........

check her black list. lol...my wife has "accidentally" done this to me more than once on different ROMs. it seems with certain phone.apks the slider to ignore a call will automatically put that person on the blacklist.. texting should still work...if not that then gmail her.

Is there a way to force the phone to 2g? Signal is very bad at work and when checking what's sucking the battery I see cell standby with 47% time without a signal. I'm assuming not having a signal is killing my battery. It's fine and lasts a long time when at home.

Yes you can. I think Widgetsoid will do this for you.

That option is already included in the rom via the galaxy s power widget in Droid Concepts Settings.

Thanks, tried it but hitting the 2G icon does nothing....

Thanks but just tried it using the native option and it did nothing so I imagine Widgetsoid wouldn't do anything either.

Is the option to kill apps via long-press back on here? I couldn't find it.

I swear I saw it in Build 11, but I can't seem to find it in DC settings now in build 12. Maybe it was removed because of issues. I do remember seeing a post or two several pages back where somebody mentioned that they were having issues with that feature. I don't use it so I apologize for not being more helpful.

Either find/use a toggle or just go into settings > wireless and networks scroll to the bottom and uncheck mobile data, it will keep 3g and everything off for you, I don't thin verizon technically has 2g, there's either 3g 1x or no internet, its what I always do to conserve battery if I'm in a place I know doesn't have signal, everything will still work but you won't be wasting battery with the 3g/1x trying to connect

'Grats on #12 releasing. Might have to pull the D1 out of the drawer and load it up this weekend, just to play.
