[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

yeah I like the DC look as is now. It adds a nice touch without having to apply a theme. Just make sure there will be a DC theme available if possible please.

want upsetting?? Try dealing with student loans, highlight of my day......... nothing more to say..... This is how they make me feel

:icon_censored:

After some consideration I have decided to make the default theme match AOSP, any theme options will be separate, so Build 13, will come AOSP froyo Themed [same as the OTA]

Ugh. This is somewhat upsetting. Ah well.

Already dealt with mine!

I'm old, remember? lol

Would it be too hard to have a stock download and a themed download? Just asking. Not trying to stir up trouble. That way everyone has an option to which one they want.

The CCROMS team used to provide a stock rom, but also had a stock theme available for flashing over other themes. This made life so much easier when trying out different themes, instead of having to make a backup, then flash the theme, decide you don't like it so you have to restore the backup or reflash the original rom.

I know flashing the original rom will overwrite any themes that have been applied, but it also undoes any changes to the kernel, notification sounds, adds back in all of the apps/sounds that I delete, etc, etc.

It was just a nice alternative to have the stock theme available to flash over other themes. Might be something to consider?

The default build from now on will remain stock Android, so Froyo builds will remain 100% Android based, and same as we progress with GB and IceCream... There will still be themed versions of the ROM, and for the DC Theme it will be consistent with build 12, with the pull down like the earlier builds..

This makes me a happy camper :D

Hi there,
I just flashed DC built #12. No problems, relly snappy but I found one little glitch. The notification bar color for the mobile data (3G) is set to a very light gray. It is almost invisible and I can't find the setting to change that color. All the other symboles are ok. Please help me.
Btw I am running the rom with stock kernel and no theme.
Thanks in advance

Thanks rck76. Now I can see my 3g.

I have another little issue with colors and notification bar. In the DC settings I found a setting for battery %. I activated it, restarted the phone but I don't see any %. Do you know how to fix that?

Did you make sure the battery percentage color is different than that of the battery fill color?

No problem, just quoted what jayR83 posted. At far as your other problem, just change your colors like jayR83 suggests^
