What are you getting the FC messages on?

and kernel shouldn't be an issue, stock runs fine for me, but I hope if you haven't already that you can either get those FC worked out, or I/someone can assist you, would hate to see you or anyone have problems, and not use this thing...

Just came to this ROM from Gimpsquad. I like the features, but after a day of usage, I am getting force closes on a lot of stuff.

I am going to have to cut back a couple things that are new to me just to see if its the ROM or the new elements; mainly I tried using the Sony launcher and installed the GOSMS Pro to try these two new things out, otherwise everything is the same as Gimpsquad.

I did wipe data and cache seperately about 3 times, then wiped Dalvik, then did another set of data and cache wipes before installing this rom, then installing gapps, then installing extra apps, rebooting and using the ROM.

No new kernal was installed... maybe I should try a different one.

Everything seems to be running better without the Sony launcher right now, which is too bad I was kind of liking it.

We'll see how it goes this weekend. I always like to give every ROM I try a fair shake before switching. Was just starting to love the gimpsource stuff when davros joined up.

One thing I am totally missing in this ROM is a larger set of notification sounds. The set I have right now doesn't even include the sounds that came with the stock Froyo update, much less the gingerbread sounds I was used to on the last gimpsource ROM I was using.

Tried searching forums for how to add those in, but the search function was no help.

Do you have ROM Manager? If so, try running the fix permissions script. Worth a shot.

you will need to have a working market before you flash a themed market. You must boot up atleast once before installing a themed market...

Installing through Rom Manager lets you install the blacked out market at the same time as the rom, when I tried that, I got no market at all. Based on what you're saying it should probably be removed as an option when installing DC through Rom Manager.

I just ran across this rom yesterday and it's been solid for me otherwise, I'm liking it so far.

Do you want the ones from GimpSquad 1.0 or GimpSource 3.1?

*Side note - personally, I love the fact that the devs stripped down the tones. I'd do it myself before flashing. I have the ones I use and don't need all the others taking up extra space.

This ROM rocks. I loved GB, but got tired of the little nuances and bugs. Decided to give Froyo another shot, and with the team of devs on this project, I figured it had to be good. I was wrong. It is GREAT!

Hope to see more from Droid Concepts in the future.

Gimpsquad 1.0 was what I was using, seemed to have the most, and I don't mind it taking up space, I'd rather have the options.
