Looking at JRummy's app. Is hot reboot a lot faster than regular boot?

A hot reboot is a GUI reboot not full hardware "hard" reboot.

Maps keeps giving me problems. It force closes and also asks me to login constantly. I don't even have it open. I tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling but that didn't help.

I haven't had this problem before with other roms so it's new to me. I never had to login either. My gmail works fine

Thanks. I try to login and it says there is already a "username" on this phone then I can only go back so I'm kind of stuck. I have maps backed up from another rom. Should I restore that?

For me I've had the permissions issue on a couple ROM's and it involved going into the Marketplace if memory serves to see permission requests and to then allow them. Something like that. Until I did that I had the same problem you had. I simply searched Google for that message and found the solution.

I didn't see any way to fix permissions in the market. should I fix permissions through rom manager?

It sounds like he means how you would normally accept the permission requirements of the app before downloading, you go into the app's marketplace, then view and accept permissions. I don't know how to do that other than while updating.

I can't seem to get the "3G" indicator on my status bar to be anything other than an off white, barely visible on my white notification bar. Can someone tell me the exact line in "notification colors" to change? The more I mess with it the worse it gets and I have to re-set in the end anyways. Thanks.
Also, what's the difference between using the "alpha" slider and using the circular color picker? Thanks again.

Sadly I had the same problem and ended up reflashing lol because I messed everything up.

So far other than the maps issue its really a great rom. I've only been using it for a few days so it's too early to really know however I like all the options. It Runs a little hot But I haven't tried a new kernel yet and I'm sure that will solve the problem

I'm having Maps issue also. It would closed itself after I search for an address. I have the map issue with built 9 also. It's pretty annoying. When I need to use maps I really need to use it. Other time it would fine the address but once I click on the link for direction it fc also.

The 3g icon is an image in the framework not a text color pm me and ill give you a fix so it is visible on a white bar
