Whenever I hit the home button, my phone gives me the haptic feedback but the button doesnt actually do anything. Any ideas?

installing the google apps did the trick, thanks jayR83!
Battery to 10% was already on my list.. 
also I wasn't planning on doing anything with comp-cache because I never felt it did anything, but I will consider any requests. I'm just curious because I've never really seen a benefit to it, but what about it works for you or do you like?

Glad you finally got it, I haven't had an issue downloading any files I just tested it and it worked for me on stock, with the P3 900 MHz kernel listed in the OP. either way glad you got it figured out...
It will finish, and the only changes from build 06 so far is just what I have listed in the change log, nothing more, so to sum that up..

One side note though, the DC settings app itself has not yet been built into the stock settings, and when you open the app it will FC until I fix some things, I just haven't had time with finals to get that fixed, but the CPU scaling does work, if you use LauncherPro or anther launcher where you can do activity shortcuts, you can select the DC settings app and make a shortcut to the CPU part of the app, and that all works flawlessly. I just have to fix the main app startup which will probably be done tomorrow hopefully, as long as I have time, gotta pack up and head home and trying to relax a bit now that everything is finally done!!
so feel free to test out the built in scaling, and the newly themed settings app

Weird, not too sure why its acting different for me. But, I prefer dolphin anyway

OK, not sure what the heck just happened, but whatever.
I reinstalled the ROM w/o a wipe and then again with a wipe. Both times, my music was not being recognized and a few other things were going on. Such as not being notified of new texts unless I have Handcent open. Another was that every time I open and then close any app, I get a homescreen redraw.
I have restarted my phone a few times after each flash with no difference.
I just restarted my phone because retro camera stated that there was a problem with my camera. Upon the reboot, everything is working just fine!
I'll keep it up for a couple days and see what happens, but my music works now and everything.

Let's hope! I can say that even with the small issues that i have experienced on this ROM, I am loving this ROM much better than any of the other (grossly?) outdated Froyo ROMs that are available!
Great job with this and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the future!
