isn't there a wireless tether option in settings? Or do you have to have an app? (Can't remember as I haven't been on apex in a while) I remember one being in Liberty GB.

Use wifi tether v3.0. It's the one with the yellow icon. Go into the apps settings and choose your device and you should be golden

Do you have a link to the tether patch and instuctions on how to install? wireless teather 3.x.x doesn't seem to work unless you have it (yes I've tried and I always run into the paywall)

I just read Verizon fixed the unpaid tether with some new hardware on their side and you will get the paywall now unless you really subscribe.

EDIT: just tethered my laptop and worked fine. No "pay now" wall.

I had the Market 3.0 in my last Rom - surprised me when it updated. However, the market doesn't seem to be updating in Apex, and the .apk I download fails to install with the message that the app "Did not install". No crap.

Any advice?

I had the old market when I did a factory reset in CM7. Market updated by itself.

If flashing the zip doesn't work then you have to install it manually using Root Explorer.
