Must be because I am still on froyo. Thank you

No, that shouldn't be the case. On was on Froyo still (Liberty v1.5) and when I checked the Toolbox Donate version, I only saw v0.3 (and lower versions) also. I then backed out of it to do something else and checked it again and it was there.

It's up to you, but you should definitely be able to download both the v0.1 Full Install (to get you to Gingerbread), make sure it's the Full Install version of v0.1 and v0.5 WITH the kernal (makes it a single flash as opposed to the two separate v0.5 and kernal files which was there also during the time I downloaded).

This way you won't have to boot into v0.1 to download v0.5 since you already have it.

ok, i want to goto 0.5. presently I am running rubix 2.01 with watermark'd theme. what do I need to do first? Do i need to go back to stock to start or can I just d/l the 0.1 as is? thanks sorry

If you use the Liberty Toolbox Donate, you just need to download Liberty Gingerbread v0.1 Full Install and download Liberty Gingerbread v0.5 WITH kernal.

Boot into CWM, make Nandroid backup, wipe data, cache, Dalvik. Flash v0.1, make Nandroid backup, wipe data, cache, Dalvik. Flash v0.5, reboot.

This worked for me with zero problems. I know some people said they had to wait some time during the bootup, but mine was maybe 45 sec at most.

BTW, the v0.1 says it's good for any Froyo ROM so you can go this route.

Having an issue with liberty 0.4. Everytimee I power off the phone it always makes me boot up to clockwork recovery. Any idea why?

I cannot boot into recovery anymore since flashing to this rom. Help please.

Not sure what you've tried, but:

My understanding is that the Droid X Bootstrap does not work once you are on Gingerbread. Some people mention to download Droid 2 Bootstrap as that still works.

For me, I boot into Bootstrap by going into Liberty Toolbox, Reboot Options, Reboot Bootstrap. Always worked for me.

It did not work for me but droid 2 boostrap did. Thank you very much.

What I did was install p3droids latest leak over it and everything worked but could not get into recovery. I wanted to come back and get default animations and boot logo. I dont care for the liberty ones.

Hey guys - I hit some major snags trying v.05 this afternoon. I'm on the .591 rooted GB leak (no custom ROM) and downloaded the donate toolbox. I went into the ROM Manager and installed the v.05, backing up my ROM and wiping data. I booted into Liberty no problem, but then I went into the market to try and get TB, D2 bootstrapper, and the Liberty Toolbox to get rolling in full, but nothing would download from the market. I just kept getting "download unsuccessful". I couldn't open text nessages either - it would snap closed immediately after opening. Now, I'm an LPP guy - never really got down with ADW, so I made LPP my default launcher. Is that the problem? As I couldn't install bootstrap, I couldn't boot into CWM. I did a battery pull and was able to flash back to my backup of rooted GB .591.

Any ideas?

I'm seeing the same thing. Droid X previously with Liberty 1.5, downloaded the 'donate' toolbox and flashed to 0.1 GB, erasing data and backing up within the toolbox (popup that came up).

Then it booted fine and started downloading all my applications (at work on 3G...), so i went through and cancelled most of the 75 or so apps it was downloading and finally got them all finished, although some still showed up as "purchased" or "free" so i had to actually click to download.

Thats fine, I installed the couple i needed (toolbox, root explorer,...) and flashed the 0.5 rom (with the kernel update) and again clearing data and backing up, and it booted fine and started downloading everything again. I didn't stop most of them , cuz i had wifi at that point, but they again showed up as purchased/free... i believe a few installed, because i see chrome to phone and a few others, but anytime i try to download any one of them, i get the "download unsuccessful" error.

I then went back to 0.4 using CWM, and created a backup there of 0.5 (which unfortunately was the market non working one) without clearing data this time. I'm still getting unsuccessful downloads though.

Anyone else get this problem, and did you fix it?

I never had v0.4, but in v0.5 in the Liberty settings, there is a selection called Recovery Safe Mode.

If you do have it, make sure it's NOT checked.

Liberty Gingerbread v0.5

Ok, so trying to install this Via liberty toolbox. My problem is that when it reboots to wipe and cache, i get the first liberty screen, then a blank screen... Bootstrap does the same. Doesnt matter what version of liberty i install(came from 2.0.1, to v.01, on .03 now) i have the same issue, phone will not run new or older roms. Phone does work but will not download from Market and is stuck in sync mode when on. frustrated, any ideas?
