At first I didn't like this rom but I ran "fix permissions" and "zip align .apks" and I now get the most amazing battery life!
I took a screen pic to prove it! This is from light to moderate use and NO sleep mode at night.

the only tweak i did was use the interactive governor.

The phone was on so long the majority of the programs I use throughout the day didn't even get a percentage of battery use! AMAZING

how much of that was display time and how much was idle? and are you using the stock home with it or are you using adw or something?

well over 2 days i slept for about 12 hours total and the phone wasn't touched then and i get pretty regular text messages and phone calls and i use the internet on and off quite a bit either checking emails or surfing. and alittle music here and there sooooo..........

I use GO Launcher as a home launcher....

All i care is that any smart phone that last more than 8 hours is freakin awesome! And this is the best yet! I've used them all except for the new dark slide gingerbread! APex is probably the next closest thing in performance and battery life

Do not restore using tit backup? Why? Just google apps? or anything?

Ok I read it again Just to confirm do not use tit backup on google apps....right?

Yeah, don't restore data. I usually don't restore data on any apps

Droid 2 APEX -The fastest ROM out there.

There is no way to restore apps without also restoring data via Titanium Pro.

So how long does it usually take for "fix permissions" and "zip align .apks" to complete? "fix permissions" has completed but "zip align .apks" has been running for over an hour now. Is this normal?

Trying this ROM after leaving CM7 because of unusable battery life (literally 4-5 hours). I've always loved AOSP ROMs and this seems to be working well.

My only problem so far is that when I try to set a ringtone through Settings -> Sound -> Select Ringtone, the Settings APK crashes. Anyone else have this issue?
