Are you kidding? The green market is so whack. I prefer any color to that. I like the white and the black. Hey kc, how would I install the white one that I have on zs? Can I just freeze the green one and install the white or does it need to be flashed somehow? Still got the black fb. Love that

Since it's a system app, you might have to flash it. You can try using astros apk installer... If that doesn't work take a ZS theme and put the market on the system apps folder, then flash it. You can remove anything you don't want our already have.

You can pull the market out of the AOSP Rom.

Having trouble getting my email to sync. Had the same problem on CM7. What's the trick? I checked and unchecked sync - not sure what else to do?

Flashed the "Dark Apps" and got market back in. It ran once, downloaded Docs, now it FC's every time I launch it. Anyone have a confirmed Market version I can flash onto this AOSP Liberty GB Rom?

- AOSP Liberty GB
- Orange theme in 3rd post
- "Dark_Apps" flashed to try and get market back

(Market disappeared before Orange theme was flashed)

Note: I can't use the Liberty Toolbox because it now fails authentication and says to re-download it from the market...

Has anyone with black market issues tried clearing market history and clearing app data(from settings)?

I will try to pull the official, un-themed market apk later. Once I get out packaged up I will link to it.

Yeah, don't restore data. I usually don't restore data on any apps

There is no way to restore apps without also restoring data via Titanium Pro.

white market that came with AOSP Liberty GB: installed a few apps, then market disappeared

installed app from "Dark Apps" package. market worked for 1 download, now FC's every time. Cleared data/cache on market app, it launches for 5 seconds then FC's. Re-installed dark apps package, same deal.

Why do all GB ROMs have the hard button backlight at 100% all the time? Is there a fix (besides disabling it with an app)?

I can use DarkApps market until I zipaligned. Fixperms didn't fix it.

So if I understand correctly, I can just take the apps that I want from another compatible theme and swap them in the theme.zip that I'm going to flash?

Mine doesn't do that. Do you have your brightness set to auto? Mine go off in the light. I am running this rom as well.

yes they go off in the light, but in the dark they are 100% bright, which is way too bright. In Froyo the backlit buttons were much dimmer in the dark, and it was less distracting.

so for the heck of it, i tried restoring app data for a few apps using titaiumn backup (even tho we were informed not to) and I had 95% good luck. I restored data for like 8 apps and out of the 8 only one didn't appreciate the restored data. The biggest one I was concerned about was aCar. I have like 6 months for fuel logs that I wanted to retain. Everything still works. Woot!
