Is there a way to get a video camera app? I just want a quicker way to get to video. Right now I have to open the camera and switch to video from there.

Sent from my DROID2 using DroidForums App

Go to the toolbox and download the blur camera and you will get the blur camera and video icons.

does that nandroid back up, back up the stock rom? If not how do I find the stock rom in case I need to reflash back to stock?

once again i know i've thanked you guys twice tonight already but one more time isn't going to hurt. i appreciate you guys working so hard to get the rom in the state thats its in now. I am able to oc to 1.45 and am very stable at that speed whereas most roms i can linger on 1.35 and all my custom tones work so i need the information so i can send my donations. just got the rom completly setup the way i love it and finally can rest at ease thanks a million. its crazy i've seeded liberty 1.5 with a ratio of 15.254 and will seed on dancedroid

Glad its working out for ya... the donation link can be found at the bottom of the release post

in that thread is how to set up rsd lite. The fastest way to get back to stock, and away to fix your phone incase you get stuck at the M logo and your phone wont boot, is to flash sbf through rsdlite. The other way is make a nandroid backup of your current rom then when you need go back to stock you will have to flash your nandroid backup. Then you will have to use terminal emulator to rename logwrapper because you altered it in your system file using bootstrap recovery image. After that you can unroot. <-----because all that takes too long its faster to flash sbf wipe data and cache and be out of the factory new. The hacking class teaches you everything about root. Please get an understanding before installing a rooting and installing a rom. There are videos in that thread and if you need a deeper understanding why you do all that then see this thread: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/rescue-squad-guides/70875-what-you-need-know-about-rooting.html

I send you all this because understanding what is going on will help you before installing. I have had time when I downloaded a rom and during download the file got corrupted and I had to use rsdlite to fix it. SO please make sure you understand how to use it before installing a rom.

ok. so I CAN back up my stock rom to flash to at a later point should I need to? I don't suppose I can install Liberty 1.5 being rooted with Z4 huh?

I'm running Fission 2.5.7 but thinking about flashing over to Liberty, just curious as to what the confirmed issues are? I've heard about the charging light and some issues with twitter (no big deal since I don't use), is there anything else I would lose coming from Fission or stock? Any GPS issues? Thanks.

no theres no issues all LITTLE issues that it had are now fixed so come on over sir
Thanks, gonna do a Ti backup and try it out.

ok. I just need to back up current stock rom and I will be ready. The ZIP finally DL'd so I am pretty much ready to go. Already downloaded the app from the market as well.

Yes. I just don't know what all to grab. I have ROM Manager, Titanium Back up Pro, Droid 2 Bootstrapper, Liberty Toolbox, and Superuser elite. I know both the tooldbox and elite are kinda pointless right now.

Sorry but as stated I am a COMPLETE NOOB with all of this.

Does anyone know how I can download all the APK's from the Apps I have? I have noticed that some of the apps I have installed are no longer available on the market and I don't want to lose em. I would love to have a folder with all the APK's.

back up your apps with titanium backup...........google should restore them after you flash though...
boot into recovery with droid 2 bootstrap
then do a back up
then wipe
then flash rom

you make it sound so easy. I have a root friendly co-worker here who is familiar with D1's. He is "willing" (after some arm twisting) to try and do this for me on my D2. I am going to be watching intently as I want to know how to do all of this by myself.

I feel retarded for being so scared to do this. :(

I am a little worried about having some issues though. I have Wavesecure installed and paid for....I have read that it locks the phone if uninstalled. Will this be an issue?
