If you use get-r-done's romer it will, but you will lose sensors. Look them up in the forums under droid 2 roms for more info.

Sensors are things like proximity sensors, the accelerometer, auto-rotate, etc. It looks like they may be able to fix it though. Like I said, check out get-r-done's forum for information

That's what I though you meant. I might as well just root and wait to install a custom rom until the problem is resolved.

Does this only effect the D2 Global?

Yes only effects the global, everything works prefect on the regular d2

I lost my Swype keyboard when I installed the ROM. I think I read that this is usual, and that there's a way to put it on, but I lost the page. Does anybody have a way to get it back?

Its part of the ROM, you should just need to go into settings/keyboards, make sure its activated, and make sure it is selected. To do this, long press on a text field, select input method, then swype.

It's been, about a week I think since I flashed it. Maybe a little less, I'm not sure.

Loving it so far. Had a weird snafu with the Revolution theme -- it would cause random constant shut-offs (When the phone was in my pocket doing nothing) and crashed at the end of a phone call. Switched back to the default Liberty theme and so far the issue of a random shutoff has only occurred once (and, well, it happened on the stock ROM too.).

My only issue I have so far, is that when trying to edit the Pulldown Bar text, it never applies. I thought maybe it was because I was using an apostrophe in it, so I cut that out, and it still just reverts to default. I did a quick forum search and found nothing, but I figured I'll just try it every so often and hope it sticks? XD.

Yep. I've hit save and wait for the little box to pop up confirming it saved and telling me to reboot before I reboot.
