i used R3l3AS3DRoot to get my phone back to stock and root it, but after doing that and then flashing the stock ui tpak, everything crashed on the first boot

If yoy want to flash you need to flash the base first Purity v.2.5 base then a pak You need to read the OP it explains everything

i also tried that but the stock tpak didn't seem to change the look of the purity base at all. maybe i'm misunderstanding the point of the stock tpak. is it supposed to make the phone look exactly like it did when i bought it (minus the blur stuff) or is it supposed to make the phone look like purity base without a tpak but with all the updates of the newer purity base releases?

I think your misunderstanding What you are in is stock purity rom with no blur. IF you want to go back to stock rooted you needed to make a backup of when you first rooted SYOCK ROOTED . Make any sense?

The stock pack just updated the base with no ui changes

Got it figured out. I didn't realize that the bionic had an internal sd card for storage.

Im on my Thunderbolt now this camera works as fast as I can get my fat fingers on it
