Just downloaded the Bedside app. Seems pretty cool. Havent placed it in the dock at home yet though. Does anyone know if it starts up automatically when placed in the dock?

On mine when I placed it in the dock for the first time a popup appeared asking me what dock app I wanted to use as a default. I picked Bedside and it now starts automatically when I place it in the dock each night.

Okay sweet! I had a feeling that was going to pop up when I placed it in. Thanks for the reply!! Im currently customizeing it right meow. Theres alot of stuff popping up when I enable certain things lol

Now that Purity 2.5 has been out for awhile, wondering if anyone else noticed the changes between 2.4 and 2.5 (Looks wise). Such as notification bar. I really like the 2.4 notification bar and was wondering if there was a mod in the Bionic Box that enables you to have the look of the 2.4 notification bar on 2.5.

I looked it up and I doubt it. All it does is change settings for you to TRY and save power .. like turning off/on GPS, 3G/4G, WiFi, etc ...

Stuck In Fastboot

The "wiped everything" sounds bad, I think you wiped the system when you did this. You were only supposed to wipe cache and dalvik for the installation of the tPak. I think you are going to do the following (it will return you to stock/rooted).:

The following is just an FYI: I had to go back to stock rooted after I had a bad rom install. I used: R3L3As3Droot And 43V3R Root For The Bionic V2.1 - RootzWiki to flash back to stock rooted with Forever Root hack installed. I followed the instructions below (I just typed this from memory so hopefully I didn't leave anything out. If I did I'm sure others will point out any corrections that need to be made):

1. Extract the zip folder on your computer.
2. Navigate to the R3L3As3Droot folder you just created
3. ENTER AP FASTBOOT MODE ON YOUR PHONE [Both Vol Dwn and Up Plus Pwr/Scroll Dwn to AP Fastboot/Press Vol up]
4. Plug phone into computer
5. Double click the file R3L3AS3DRoot.bat for windows, MotoRooter.sh for Linux, or Mac-MotoRooter for Mac OS X in the folder.
6. Just follow the instructions on the screen
7. When your phone boots up and the Green Android is asking you to activate your phone, don’t. Instead do the 4 corners = Bypass Activation.
5. Bypass The Activation Screen: touch the top left corner of the screen, then top right, then bottom right, and then bottom left. This will bypass the Android Activation Screen. Then,
9. Set usb mode to Charge Only and then make sure USB Debugging is checked in Settings>Applications>Development
10. Resume following instructions on the computer screen.

Good luck.

I put it into fastboot mode, but it says battery low can't program. I tried letting it charge all night, nothing. And I can't get it out of fastboot mode. turn it off and on and it goes straight to fastboot, if I pull the battery it goes straight to fastboot when I put it back in. Do you know how to force it out of fastboot?

First off ... minus points to anyone that didn't get the Super Troopers reference! :p

Boot into (stock) recovery. Pull the battery ... when putting it back in (as well as turning it on) hold down BOTH volume keys. The reason I say while you are putting the battery in is, I was stuck in FastBoot before and AS SOON as I'd put the battery in the screen would come back on and into fastboot.

Once into recovery, select reboot and should get you out.

Perfect

That worked perfectly, thanks. My phone is finally charging. Hopefully it lets me flash a new recovery once it's charged.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to want me flashing anything new onto it. I have it in fastboot, I tried using the batch file mentioned above, doesn't work. I tried manually flashing clockwork and it fails every time, it says too many streams. I tried using rsd lite following the instructions on the following page Droid Bionic gets Fastboot Recovery files for broken software and bricked devices | TalkAndroid.com . It fails at 2/15 every time. Right now it's still looping the boot video from the Xoom version of Purity. Any ideas how I can get my phone working again? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Exactly what I did.

I flashed clockworkmod recovery with the rom manager app.
I downloaded the bas file for purity and moved to the root of sd card.
I rebooted to recovery.
I wiped data, cache, and dalvik cache.
I chose install from zip and picked the purity zip file.
It installed and ran fine, once it as up I moved the Xoom file to the root of my sd card.
This is where I think I went wrong, I wiped data, cache, and dalvik cache instead of just cache and dalvik cache.
After that I tried booting and now it loops the boot video until the battery dies.
When I try running the batch from this site Droid Bionic gets Fastboot Recovery files for broken software and bricked devices | TalkAndroid.com it says: FAILED (status read failed (too many links)) after it tries to flash system.img over.
I moved the recovery.img file to the same directory my fastboot.exe is and entered fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
it says "sending 'recovery' (4018 KB)..." and stays there forever
None of what I've done caused any changes to what my phone displays. It says OK to Program and USB connected.

I'm almost certain I'ts not my computer, I just put it together a couple weeks ago and the windows install is fresh. Still, I'm gonna try installing everything on another computer to see if it fares better. I'll let you know if it does, I'm not too hopeful though.

Edit: the link above wasn't the batch I used, when I run rsd lite from the above's instructions: rsd lite says: fastboot cdma targa s Port 1 connected... under devices
It says flashing failed 1/15 usb error occured while reading/writing
I've tried both front usb ports and back directly from the motherboard

Th batch file I also tried was from here: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/5484-r3l3as3droot-and-43v3r-root-for-the-bionic-v21/

NO. What I meant is did you remove or freeze any apps ON YOUR DROID using Titanium Backup?
