The droid has a known problem of the phone screen being crazy with the charger in happens to pretty much everyone and is worse at times and barely noticable at other times but there are full threads on this it's a known thing nothing to do with the rom

Yea dark never heard of anyone else with those problems what is the browser you're using? also what is your kernel maybe you're doing too much for the kernel and running it at too high a speed or maybe the browser is just not great please provide use with a little more info so we can get that fixed for you

Stock browser. And its happened with other apps using data, like navigation or tapatalk, but its more consistent with the browser.

I'll try a different kernel, using slahyer 1.2 right now

Tried loading this up for a second time tonight, same results. I tried to set the CPU speed to 550 max, and everytime I left the settings screen, it goes back to 800. It did the same thing with Set CPU the first time I loaded it up. It's killing my battery and making my Droid run hot. This is a shame cause I think this Rom is phenominal. Is there a reason it won't underclock for me? I always like to run at 250 min 550 max to save battery and run cool. It just runs wide open with 2.0 for some reason.

Have you tried loading another kernel and then throttle that one back? I am on the slayher 900 and I am not noticing this. Also you can try a custom kernel via the magic.

Alright darkmatter let me know how the other kernel works out and let me know what theme you're on so i can look at the browser in it. I have not had any of those type problems before and you're the first i've heard of.

leonozug me and eagle are looking into your're problem not really sure what is up with this i don't have the problem using the build your own kernel but it seems a few others as well have run into this problem so we'll have it looked at and we plan to have an update for it this weekend if all goes well.

GFlam thanks for the response, I will definitely check out the next update. And Yank, I tried flashing the Slayher kernels, and tried doing the custom kernel, but they all did the same thing. Just won't throttle down for me. I think this Rom is amazing, probably the most impressive one I've tried yet, hopefully with the next update my CPU will behave! lol

I'm running Slayher on mine too, and it runs very cool and I get pretty decent battery life. I do have a Seidio 2800 extended battery, so that somewhats slants the battery issue, but I've had no problems. I've more or less given up on the SetCPU game, no longer trying to overclock/underclock.

Maybe he's not hitting the apply button before he leaves the Milestone Overclock Module...Sometimes it's the simple things...:-) Also If he hasn't uninstalled CPU boost it could be messing him up...just throwing things out there.....Really need more info, but I'm sure you'll get him fixed...And Gflam, never mind I'll try and catch u on the IRC.

I didn't mean to imply that you didn't do it I was just throwing things out. Do you get on the IRC @Sourcery ???

I'll let you know how the new kernel works when I can manage to change it. It'll download it and reboot just fine, but then I get E:/whatever not found which scrolls down, then reboots into recovery.

Edit
And logcat can't really help you out for system crashes, can it? Or would it hold that info through the reboot?

I take it you're doing this through the rom..trying to just load a kernal ??? like one of the slayers in the menu ???cause I always get that E:/ not found, but then it downloads it.
after a small pause.

In the terminal, yes, me too. After it downloads it reboots. Its during the reboot that I get the E not found, then it reboots into recovery. Then I just choose reboot and I'll be back up and running.

darkmatter, boot back into recovery and install the update zip.

You know what man, I'm gonna try and download the Rom right off the Sourcery site and flash that one, It can't hurt to try and see what happens. Maybe it will work. lol

And thanks, I'll check out the IRC.
