[ROM] Rolling Rolling Rolling GummyJAR just keep a rolling aha... 2.5 12/28

Call me crazy but is there anyway to get the normal lockscreen? Non rotary that is? Im not a big fan of the new lockscreen. I wanna flash 2.5 but im in love with 2.1 and watermarkd theme with the transparent but themed lockscreen. Thanks

2.5 comes with the standard lockscreen as a default. You have to go under Settings -> Lockscreen to actually change it to rotary.

After flashing I noticed I have 2 gallery icons in my app drawer. They both open up to different interfaces, one to which I have not seen before. Is this a test for a new gallery type? I did a data and cache wipe so I'm not sure how else I would have gotten this second gallery.

Kejar said you should have 2 galleries. A 3D and 2D. Both should run fine standalone, so, feel free to delete the one which you do not prefer.

Ah, very good. I like this new one except it doesn't seem to pull my Picasa albums like the 3D gallery does.

Kejar, once again another amazing release guy! Question: how to I get the battery manager that the DX has? Thanks again!

The battery manager has been removed because it caused FC's all of which were an issue with the app and not my ROM. I for one have yet to see a difference in batterylife since removing it anyways...

if you want to see battery use, that is still available... just go to Settings-->About phone-->Batter Use

Question. Are there any plans to implement the hack that allows you to use the native Mobile Hotspot app?

Many people have gotten the Mobile Hot-Spot app to work. I beleive that are instructions with a download on one of the long threads for GummyJAR 2.1 over at XDA..

As I have said in the past though.. I do not and will not support the 3g app

-boot into recovery via clockworks bootstrap
-select "mounts and storage"
-select mount /system
-go back "powerbutton"
-select "install zip from sdcard"
-select "choose zip from sdcard"
-find and select 3GHotspot.zip
-reboot
repeat above for the TBH_DX_Tether_Patch_1.0.zip

You should be able to Google the 3GHotspot.zip and TBH_DX_Tether_Patch1.0.zip files.

Thanks for this information!
