Interesting. I see it in mine but I flashed 2.5 on top of rubix195 which already comes with the hotspot app, so you can always go that route.

Well they still work, they don't light up on boot and won't work until I go to the lockscreen and unlock. And all of the hard keys will wake my phone out of sleep mode instead of just the home key..

Team Defuse edited the 3gMobileHotSpot App to work without the blur framework... You will need to download Fission Rom Manager then under add ons there is a 3g mobile hotspot app... download that, it will work with all true blurless roms!
Same goes for their blur camera and galery... both of which can also be found on Fission Rom Manager.

3g hotspot works for me as well. when you get the 2 needed zips (3g hotspot and 3g hack, both can be found in the TBH app) make sure you mount system for both then install. my friend couldn't get it to work either because he kept forgetting to mount system first. i've used it successfully since 1.9.

Try flashing back to a ROM where your buttons worked. That simple procedure will tell you a lot about where the problem lies.

The only other rom I have is just standard stock, but it honestly doesn't bother me that much.. I just want to problem to be acknowledged so that either people are warned about it before flashing the ROM or a fix can be worked on..

I'm very happy with this rom but I've never had this problem until I flashed it and the buttons actually work after the phone boots up and unlocks.. if it was a hardware problem on my end I don't think that they would work at all.
 
Please don't assume the lights not working a byproduct of the rom. There's nothing to warn others about as this seems like an isolated incident. Besides when you flash ROMs you have to be prepared for potential problems. Its a part of making modifications.

It's actually happened to someone else that flashed this rom -_- and I'm fully aware of what can happen when flashing a rom I'm pretty sure I only described it as an inconvenience.

One time could be considered an isolated incident, two times is starting to get a little iffy and all I'm trying to do is bring attention to the problem so that a fix could be looked at or it could be listed as a possible warning that people might want to know about before they attempt to flash a rom.

Seriously people on this site are so annoying you act like I'm sitting here saying omg kejar u broked my phone paypal me 500 dollars for a new one right now!! wah wah wahh
 
And I actually just messaged a friend on Facebook who just flashed this rom yesterday and it seems as though the same thing has happened to him.. so it looks like this "isolated incident" just gained another member.
 
Ive mounted system, installed hptspot rebooted bootsyrap again mount system flash the hack and still nothing. I dont get it. Ive followed the instructions to the tee. Any other suggestions??

are you flashing the 3g hotspot as a zip or apk? you cant take the mynet.apk and install it in the system even with correct permissions. it needs to be flashed through bootstrap as a zip file like you would a theme, mounting the system first of course. i actually do the 3g hotspot zip and 3g patch one right after the other. as soon as my phone reboots the 3g icon is in my app drawer. hope this sheds a little more light for you.
 
As always Kejar another great rom. Donation on it's way. I'm really digging the rotary lock screen. Is there any way to make the incoming call screen have the rotary answer/decline buttons instead of the horizontal swipe ones?

i got it working fine. how exactly are you installing the hotspot?
