[ROM] Rolling Rolling Rolling GummyJAR just keep a rolling aha... 2.5 12/28

Many people have gotten the Mobile Hot-Spot app to work. I beleive that are instructions with a download on one of the long threads for GummyJAR 2.1 over at XDA..

As I have said in the past though.. I do not and will not support the 3g app

Understood, thanks for the info!

-boot into recovery via clockworks bootstrap
-select "mounts and storage"
-select mount /system
-go back "powerbutton"
-select "install zip from sdcard"
-select "choose zip from sdcard"
-find and select 3GHotspot.zip
-reboot
repeat above for the TBH_DX_Tether_Patch_1.0.zip

You should be able to Google the 3GHotspot.zip and TBH_DX_Tether_Patch1.0.zip files.

REARless:

Could you post a howto on this in a separate thread in both eh DX and D2 GummyJAR forums please?

It would really help out!

Kejar, another solid release. You're finding a way to make an already great rom even better with each release. I believe this is release number 10 since 1.5..."prolific" best describes your actions. Congrats

I see that you can load this over 2.1 without wiping data, but what about over 2.0? I think that's the latest version of GummyJar that I'm on. Is there any way to confirm? My build number in the About screen just says GummyJAR, without a version numberical number (o.O).

KJar31. I posted them but the mods took the post down. (I did not post any links but they were still upset about the instructions being posted.)

weird thing. the second i use titanium backup to restore apps that did not get restored with market it reboots the phone.. any suggestions.. i wiped data and cache before installing..

I am having an issue with navigation not working, I get "checking navigation availability" forever when trying to use it. I have uninstalled / reinstalled Google maps, my GPS widget, done a battery pull, cleared cache, dalvik cache. I am at a loss. I had this same problem when I flashed darkslide 4.1 over 4.0 ans had to sbf back to stock then reflash. I am loving gummyjar with the water mark theme so any ideas short of SBFing back to stock and doing a fresh install would be great, but I'll do what I have to to get my phone working while looking and running this great...
