Possible Dialer Bug...

Received a voice mail... Tried to access it via the DX and it wouldn't take my password from the dialer (worked fine on GJ 2.5). Accessed the voicemail without issue from a landline. Can anyone else test?

Edit: Loaded the AOSP dialer (Contacts.apk) and it worked again...

What is data throttling and how does it work?

It works like this:

• You get a shiney new smartphone that "does"
• You get the unlimited data plan so that you can "do"
• The man, says that unlimited isn't really unlimited
• but they don't really tell you that part
• If you use more data than "the man" likes, they start to slow you down

So basically on an unlimited data plan, if you go over 5gb of usage per month, you get throttled (they slow down your connection). This can also be the case in congested metropolitan areas (like D.C.).

By removing the throttle, you are not letting your android phone accept "the man's" terms of the slow down, and you can run at full capacity all the time.

Installed over gj 2.5 only wiping caches and resetting battery. Runs notably faster than my gj did. lovjng the toolbox. Worth the wait!

My guess is you used the speakerphone. It plays the tones load enough that they echo into the mic and mess up the numbers. Try it without speakerphone on.

No but a new one is in his section or you can use the Liberty Tool Box and download and install it from there!

This rom was well worth the wait, loving it so far.

I did have 1 issue. I went to install the blur camera through the toolbox, and it said it installed it. However when I went into my app drawer the camera and camcorder icons were missing and the hard button did not work (it made the vibration but no camera).

Using rootexplorer I went into system -> app and there was a camera.apk there, so I clicked on it and hit install. After that it gave me an error message about not being able to parse the package. Anyone have the same issue, or even had it install the camera just fine?

Note: I did even try rebooting.

I tried to install the Gingerbread theme, and it acted like it was downloading and rebooted and failed install (deleted partial download and tried again, no luck)..

I then tried Frost and the sme thing, has anyone got any of the themes to install using the toolbox?

Should I turn off safe boot under libery settings (this causes clockwork to open after every reboot)?

only thing i found i couldn't do in this rom was set my pulldown text to nothing. deleted all the letters even tried adding blank spaces and saving and rebooting but never worked... otherwise awesome rom

Guys, the server is still getting hammered so themes may take forever to download ATM.. If while downloading a theme you begin doing something else you may corrupt your zip file.. If you have downloaded themes but they did not finish downloading correctly, go to your SDcard via file manager and delete the themes files out of the Liberty/downloads folder and try again later after things settle down.

This is also true for add-ons
